my impressions and thoughts:
after playing him for about ~12 hours only practice mode, i really like this fighter
his animations and overall Muay Thai spirit is great
he has many unique tools and this makes him complex in the long run = fun
- interesting cancels
- good punishers (14,f21,b1,df23,ws12,ws3)
- unique parrys for punches(d3+4) or kicks(b3+4)
- devastating CH with 3+4
- unique scary wall splatt cancels on block (but can be SS or CH interrupted)
- extremly cool running move with fff3
weakness, many of his moves are punishable (example: b1 -15,high parry -13)
he dont has a CH or NH low launcher
his "Orbital" with uf1 is very slow with 28 frames
having a -5 low poke on hit (d4) -16 on block in Tekken7 is kinda crazy (but he has at least df3)
for example: annas df4 +5,-15 - ganryu df3 +5, -12 (probably the best low poke in tekken7)
law db3 +4, -12 - marduk d3 -1, -12 (all standing,kinda same dmg,kinda same speed,all hit grounded)
so his low game is not that scary but he has a good high, so people want to duck, bf4 is basically a slower electric and more recovery (really cool move with great range)
i honestly think his db4(-14l) should also give that mini combo on CH
his mid homing is also below average ff4 is -13 but some pushback and nothing on CH
example: josie ff4 is -9 and a screw CH launcher
or even crazier asuka ff3 -9 screw on CH and high crush
oh and lili has now also a mid safe CH homing with 3.30 (only -6 but short range)
his power crush with 25frames is also just average, i would say (mid -12OC)
i really like the thunder sound on all his "power" moves, sounds scary
bruce back 2 will also live again in all his wall enders or after screw moves (b432)
cool to see this great looking move back
(really need to find setups for his b1+4 unblockable.
note: if you press bb 1+4 or hold b1+4, b1 comes out, that is a little bit annoying)
there are basically only minor things i dont like, same with leroy,negan (akuma and geese but these are 2d fighters), no unique cool sidethrow animations
this is a lazy route, in my opinion, as i think its not that hard
(just move some ik pivot points and make it look cool - no balance needed - send me the data i do it for free

does that mean tekken8 will throw all sidethrows over board?
als leroy and fahkumram are true tekken fighters
i also miss some clinch multi throws
my final verdict: Iron Fist spirit 100% - a true fighter to the roster
for a new released fighter, very well implemented, way better than total OP leroy, if you ask me
how good he will be on high level is hard to say, as he has holes (example: b432 is basically useless, as 12frames will interrupt the 2 to come out, you wont see CH like old b2 (on top its -12)) and many punishable moves,
so i dont know yet (some might say he is strong just because they focus all on combo damage. everytime i see rage + wallcarry + RD wall ender, i am like, yeah you can do this damage with almost every fighter in the roster, this does not tell you how good a fighter will be on high level)
ps: the customization is kinda lackluster but i really like his default anyways
(i hope this mode will get more love in tekken8, even if this means smaller roster to release
but in the end tekken7 vanilla already had a small roster, it just grow in time with new installments and 3 seasons)
