This is very sad. Tekken Zaibatsu was my main website for Tekken to get advice and tips back in the mid 2000s. My post count might not be impressive and I was inactive for a very long time, but I was a good lurker and come visit here from time to time for the nostalgia and great memories.

Even though I don't consider myself a Tekken player anymore, I am saddened by this decision, as it is a very memorable part of my past that is going to be shattered in the void. But hey most of us are seeing this coming right? Change is part of life, internet is evolving and younger people are having different interests and perception of things. Forums are dying and do not appeal for the younger generations anymore. Unfortunately forums were unique and used to have their own atmosphere, personality and mood. This cannot be said about the modern social media.

Thank you Tekken Zaibatsu and Castel for the amazing time and dedication you gave for this amazing website. I had my best time here back in T5DR/T5 and TTT days. It was a great reading through TZ, and having all the good laughs and discussions with the amazing people here. TZ is one of my childhood memories that I was fond of, and will be forever in my mind.

To all TZers through the years I love you all and hopefully all of you are doing well in your lives.

Peace to everybody

Hey Castel, I just wanted to thank you for creating an amazing place where I met so many friends and rivals from all over the world. Tekken Zaibatsu was instrumental early on in really lighting the competitive fighting game fire within.

I hope you understand just how special this site was to not only Tekken, but the history of fighting games as a whole.

conk out,

not unstoppable, just...

UNCONKABLE!!!!

Slack.

Before internet got big this site was the be all and end all of Tekken for me whether it was for info or match-ups. Europe match-finder was a laugh looking back... I remember my first tournament in Burger King in London and I was in awe at the level of play. That crazy Greek player that used his stick crossed handed, the sick hooded Ling player who did not wash his hair, Frenchie hiding under the bed in the Luton tournament and all the heads piling into Shinjin's dad's house for a sesh while he sat in his wife-beater and stared in disbelief why 20 people were in his living room haha. Good times...

Thank you so much, Castel!
The site was an incredible source of knowledge but more important, it's become a meaningful part of our lives.

Wow, I'm so glad I made it here before this went offline completely.

Those TTT combo videos back in the early 2000s were amazing. While I have long quite Tekken, it remains a huge part of my life.

I appreciate everyone from the Tekken community that I've gotten to know and you guys will alway be a part of my life.

Godspeed everyone.
