Hey guys, want to share a back tech trap, not sure if it is known but afaik it isn't. Can't make a vid so had to post it sorry if its too long.
If you knock down an opponent in any position other than fuft mostly there will be a small window where they can't block if they getup with back.This is universal and all characters have some moves causing this state but are usually unsafe or launchers that lead to dmg anyway. Also not having a scary option vs staying or rolling on the ground nullifies the mixup. well King differs here cuz of gthrows. We will be using fast mids most notably f+2,1. Timing differs according to distance and kings recovery from the move.
King moves that cause this state:
-CH d/f+2,1 - CH d/b+3 - FC d/f+1 (all launchers so ignore)
-CH d/f+3,4 (not a good move and only a mid wake up kick is possible )
so far not much, same as other characters but next is where king is different
King throws that cause this state:
-Tombstone - Boston crab (together with u+1+2 you get all three breaks at the wall, this is very strong cuz if they attempt any wakeup f+2,1 will wall splat and if they stay or roll gthrows, kinda 50,50)
-DDT f+3
-Rock bottom (weird side d/f+3 and d/f+1,2 more consistent than f+2,1)
-Irish whip (both throw extentions get capital punishment for a full juggle, this also makes 2+4 extention more useful since it will scare people from wake up giving more time for gthrows)
-Both normal throws and Palm upper to suplex
-Argentine side throw
-Both normal back throws
-All extensions from ultimate tackle
-Right crouch throw
-Shoulder cracker and bow&arrow gthrows
-Flapjack air throw
-1+3 air throw at the wall (thx to J king for this one)
-All crouch dash multi throw extensions except RDC
-CH convict kick - Olympia slam
-Frankensteiner
-Left leg reversal - Arm reversal
If they try stand up option you hit them from the back giving you f+2,d+1,2 into a full bt burning knuckle juggle for lots of dmg (few cases will not allow this due to king long recovery from some moves like tombstone where you can only get d/f+2 & d/f+1)
All this makes your throw oki wayyyyyy stronger but for more risk
