Use this forum to submit your news tip for review by a moderator, once reviewed your topic will be moved to the news forum and made live on the front page. My goal is for this forum to replace emailing any tips so the moderators don't actually have to create the post, saving them some time and the post will be in your name.
There is no need to contact the moderator after you post, they will be automatically notified. If your post is removed it means it was not fit for front page publishing (don't take it personal
) When posting news please adhere to the following guidelines.
1. First make the initial post (topic starter), a short paragraph which has the teaser text for the front page. This first post should be FREE of any vbCode markup!!!! No smilies, no bold text, no links, no images, no polls, etc.... absolutely NOTHING but plain text.
2. Use capitalization on every first letter of each word in the topic title, no ALL caps titles please.
3. After the topic has been created reply to your first post with the meat of the news article. Here you are free to use whatever vbCode, include images, use smilies as usual, etc...
4. Please no video or tournament announcements, there are other forums for this already and a tournament calendar to feature your events is already in the works. Special video or tournament news will be handled by the news moderators directly when warranted.
5. Resist the urge to waste the moderators' time with useless topics, or we might not be able to resist the urge to dust off the banning stick
Thanks!
