yeah im possitive that the winner will be the first one to start after double KO on last round...

because the first one who press start will automatically become the champion and and 2nd will become the challenger

So this happened to me today. I was about to get demoted and my opponent was about to get promoted. 3rd dan vs 3rd dan. To cut it short, I won so there were no change in ranks. Iirc, you acquire .25 bonus points for preventing an opponent's promotion. And for beating him, I acquire 1 point. After that, I won against a 1st dan. So I get .25 points again.

So all in all, I got 1.5 points, right?
And btw, do you get bonus points too for denying your own promotion?

i dont think there is a point addition when beating a promo chance player.......

so if that is the case you are likely to have 1.25

have to agree on that one denying a promo doesn't give any extra points

try battling 2 ranks high so you can win .5 and lose only .25

did u noe that u can batlle ur own card(SAME CHAR AND RANK) in tekken arcade but it consume ur 1 lose first...

the point system in BR is not that accurate, I had a death match before where in it took me me 12 wins before I got promoted,my opponent was 2 ranks higher than me so in every match I should be getting .5 per win, FYI my card just got promoted before the match started my card should be either positive or neutral, like wise my opponent got demoted after the 12th match, it seems the BR machine has some flaws on identifying the rank differential

2 ranks diff should be about 12 games, depending on which ranks you're at.

Do you need more points to promote or demote once you get to orange ranks?

I was on Vanquisher having games with a bunch of other Vanquishers, and I was on promo chance. Lost my promo chance and lost around 5 or 6 more after that (well very many games win and lose but overall I lost about 5 or 6 more games than I won). On my next game I didn't get a demotion risk (never got a demo risk actually) and after which I carried on playing vanquishers, I would have net around 6 wins more I lost just to reach my promotion chance again..

Is the points system different from Orange ranks onwards or something? Sometimes I swear I'm close to promo or demo but it takes many more wins or losses than I expect to get there

If you beat higher ranks than you you don't get as many points, but if you lose to ranks much lower than you do you lose a lot of points or do you only pretty much gain or lose points from fighting people at your rank.

I won around 90% of my fights today, but I lost to a 1st dan (accidental dc) and to a 9th Kyu Marduk who kept throwing footballs at me; I didn't even know that was a customization weapon!

Anyway, I had a lot of fun today and beat almost all of my opponents including some much higher in rank than me and in totally different colors. I am a rank Brawler, I was just wondering, did I lose a lot of points for my few losses I had today because they were lower In rank than me or no?

I lost to another Brawler, did I lose more points with him or the Kyu?

I don't understand the ranking system all too well.
