In both cases she can recover crouching. b_u/b RDc (Rain Dance cancel ) D/B RDcc (crouching Rain Dance cancel ) u/f fRDc (forward Rain Dance cancel ) (FC) u/f,D/F fRDcc (forward crouching Rain Dance cancel) Commands you input during a RD cancel animation are parsed as forward facing moves and will cancel the remaining animation. During any RD cancel Ling can not throw, parry, sidestep or jump. During the RD cancel animations Ling can only input a limited set of moves. In RD cancels that put Ling in FC position there seems to be a small window, close to the end of the animation, in which you can input WS and directional FC moves before exiting the RD cancel animation. Cancelling the RDc animation in it's early frames with 4~3 or d+1+2 will make the moves come out off axis and with d+1+2 you can even go into BK AOP from where you perform single button RD moves. Overall, RDc is relatively slow but evasive, whereas fRDc is fast and more attack oriented.
