Tackles & Tackle Attacks

All characters have to ability to tackle the opponent during a run, check the running system section for more details on how to tackle during a run. A few characters can perform a Tackle from standing position.

Tackle Attacks

After a successful tackle you can execute various tackle attacks depending on the character you are playing and the the position of your opponent at the moment of tackle impact.

Tackle Reversals

Some characters have to ability to reverse/parry the tackle and reverse some tackle attacks. These only apply to a front tackle.

Tackle Escapes

All characters can escape tackles and most of the tackle attacks. A few exceptions to the rule include Craig's Spear Tackle and Asuka's Ultimate Tackle.

Foot Notes #1 Input within 2 frames for a running tackle and within 4 frames for a standing tackle after the hit frame.
#2 Input right before your back hits the ground. After over turning the tackle you can use tackle attacks.
#3 The 1st right punch is escapable, the attacks after that are not escapable.
#4 Asuka's Ultimate Tackle cannot be avoided, only overturned after hitting the ground.
