Record Practice Mode
Pause the game in Practice Mode and select the bottom choice
(Return to Mode Select) and select "Free" from the
"Mode Select" menu. Once on the "Free"
menu screen, adjust the settings to your liking and return
the cursor to the "OK" menu choice on top. Hold
L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 and press Circle. You should now see recording
and playback instructions on the bottom of the screen.
Tekken Ball Mode
Beat Arcade Mode with ten different characters of your choice.
Theater Mode
Beat Arcade Mode with all of the ten default characters. Once
Theater Mode is unlocked you can insert a Tekken or Tekken
2 game disc and view the full motion video on those discs.
Releasing Extra Characters
To release more characters you must beat Arcade Mode with
different characters. |
- Kuma : Beat Arcade Mode with any character
- Julia : Beat Arcade Mode with any two different characters
- Gun Jack : Beat Arcade Mode with any three different characters
- Mokujin : Beat Arcade Mode with any four different characters
- Anna : Beat Arcade Mode with any five different characters
- Bryan : Beat Arcade Mode with six different characters
- Heihachi : Beat Arcade Mode with any seven different characters
- Ogre : Beat Arcade Mode with any eight different characters
- True Ogre : Beat Arcade Mode with any nine different characters

Releasing Gon
First you must beat Arcade Mode with all ten default characters.
At this point Gon will appear as your first opponent in Tekken
Ball Mode and at random in Arcade Mode. Defeat Gon in either
Mode and he will be selectable. If you fail to defeat Gon in
Tekken Ball Mode, he will not appear there again and you have
to defeat him at random in Arcade Mode. Or get first place in
Time Attack Mode or Survival Mode and enter GON as your initials.
Releasing Dr. Bosconovitch
Beat Force Mode with any character four times. Third
Outfits
Some characters have more then the default two outfits. Some
are available right from the start, for others there are certain
criteria to be met before they are available. |
- Jin's School Outfit can be selected with Start or Right
Punch after you have selected him fifty times in Arcade,
Versus, Force or Tekken Ball Mode.
- Law's Yellow Jump Suit can be selected with Start.
- Ling's School Outfit can be selected with Start or Right
Punch after you have selected her fifty times in Arcade,
Versus, Force or Tekken Ball Mode.
- Eddy's "Tiger" Outfit can be selected with Start
or Right Punch after you have beaten Arcade Mode with sixteen
different characters.
- Gun Jack's "Jack-2"Outfit can be selected with
Start or Right Punch after you have selected him ten times
in Arcade, Versus, Force or Tekken Ball Mode.
- Anna's Zebra Outfit can be selected with Start or Right
Punch after you have selected her twenty five times in Arcade,
Versus, Force or Tekken Ball Mode.

Alternate Character and Mode release
There is a another way of releasing extra characters and game
modes. As you accumilate battles in versus mode new features
and characters will be unlocked. |
- 100 Battles : Kuma unlocked
- 150 Battles : Julia unlocked
- 200 Battles : Gun Jack unlocked
- 250 Battles : Mokujin unlocked
- 300 Battles : Anna unlocked
- 350 Battles : Bryan unlocked
- 400 Battles : Heihachi unlocked
- 450 Battles : Ogre unlocked
- 500 Battles : True Ogre unlocked
- 550 Battles : Tekken Ball Mode unlocked
- 600 Battles : Tiger unlocked
- 650 Battles : Gon unlocked
- 700 Battles : Dr. Bosconovitch unlocked
- 750 Battles : All characters and outfits unlocked

Alternate and Different Costume EMBU
Once you have defeated Arcade Mode with all the default characters
you will see the EMBU with the other costumes. The original
EMBU still appears as the the Different Costume EMBU will
be every other EMBU played.
The Alternate Switched Character EMBU will start running once
you have defeated Arcade Mode with every character. Every
other third EMBU will be the Alternate EMBU.
Mokujin Wood Impact Sound
After selecting Mokujin hold down until the match start. The
standard hit sounds will be replaced with the wood block hit
sound effect.
