-for the first costume of each char press 1_2, for the second one it's 3_4 (this applies to nearly all chars/Kuma and Panda: 1_2 and 3_4)(all special outfits are unlocked right from the start and are selectable via 2 and in special cases also with 4)
------------------------------------------------
MODES:
Arcade Battle - Just like the game you play in the arcades. 9 Stages of pure nostolgia...
Ghost Battle - Endless battle against actually formittable opponents on higher levels
Vs Battle - No explanation necessary
Gallery - Unlock videos and images...
Options - Change stuff around.
*there is no practice mode available
---------------------------------------------------------
CHARACTERS:
Jinpachi - play through the arcade version of the game one time and beat Jinpachi. He will then become a selectable character on the top right of the character select screen.
Square - Fiery Form at the end of DR
X/O - Purple Form at the end of Tekken 5
Triangle - Human Form
Jinpachi is extremely strong although a little slow. He nothing like his T5 version...toned down a lot... also his movelist is extremely lacking...
Beginner (brown)
9th-1st Kyu (dark red)
1st-7th Dan (grey)
Shihan (grey)
Expert (grey)
Warrior (grey)
Master (grey)
Virtuoso (grey)
Champion (grey)
Lone Wolf (green)
Destroyer (green)

There really isnt any obvious way to add ghosts to the list... however it may come out as a patch...

CUSTOMIZATIONS
- There really doesnt seem to be any additions to this category, so there really isnt nething to look forward to...
But, everything is half off now!! woo!... i guess. You can now get all of those items that youve always wanted for a much cheaper price.
-------------------------------------------------------
*You have to have an internet connection available in order to unlock these items
-----------------------------------------------------
VERSUS BATTLE
- You can copy your saved data and send it to the other profiles on your machine. So, if you and a buddy wants different customizations, he can simply unlock gold on a separate ID on your PS3, and send his save over to your ID before you play and you'll both be able to pick your own costumes. However, the game still will not keep track of wins & loses, nor can you unlock gold like this.
I also noticed that I was able to copy the save file to my flash drive. So, in theory you should be able to simply copy your save onto a usb storage medium, go to a buddy's house, and just copy your data to his profile and use your personal custumizations that way aswell or send your file to someone over the computer and they can transer it to their PS3.
------------------------------------------------------
GAMEPLAY
- It seems that obtaining gold is much more straight forward than in the PSP conterpart... you play the game... you get gold, easy enough....
- So far I have seen the gold peak at around 15,000G per match (that is not including roulette)
- No indication of the Divine Fist rating being a part of this game. However, it was brought to my attention that the loading sign is that of the Divine Fist... so there may be a possibility...
- I achieved a Dark Lord status with Devil Jin and lo and behold... nothing happened...
- Within Ghost Mode, it keeps track of how much gold you have obtained during your current run. However, it doesn't add in if you receive a roulette multiplier on it. Also, if you lose to the computer, you lose your "streak" of gold and must restart from 0.
Seems as if the game was meant to be a true arcade port... with not much else added....

GLITCHES/OTHER STUFF OF INTEREST
The Secret Garden (Night) - for one reason or another, there seems to be a problem on this stage. It is only cosmetic wise and will not affect gameplay. However, it looks weird as the "sparks" that occur during a move just dont happen. Devil Jin for example will throw out an EWGF and there wlll be no electricity on his hands. This happens with a lot of moves...
Ominous Mist - Not so much a glitch, but the resolution on this stage is drastically reduced from the other stages. Not really sure why though.
The Secret Garden (Day) - Same thing as the ominous mist.... it just doesnt lookas pretty as the rest of the game...

TECHNOLOGY
For those of you who had played the game, you may notice that there is a bit of lag between the inputs on the controller and the action on the screen. I had it too. Although I was not able to fully fix the problem without the addition of third party adapters, here is some interesting info.
If you are running a TV on 1080i there may be a lag. Hate to say it, but its true. So far there are a range of reports from a small amount of lag during the grab animation that doesn't affect the gameplay at all to there being a constant delay on everything, and that isn't good.
I personally pushed my TV down to 760p after experiencing this and the lag was reduced, although it was not gone. But you probably will be able to adapt. After a few minutes of working, all of Steve's flicker combos were coming out fine and I was able to hit Hwoarang's JFSR 99% of the time. Playing at 1080p is reported to work fine, being that it is the resolution that the game was intended to be palyed on.
Playing with the sixaxis controller is also something that takes some getting used to. The Diagonals arent as giving as the dualshocks were, so there might be a little frustration there. There is also the issue with the controller having to resync with the PS3. This causes a momentary inability to move your character. Last night I play on a streak of arounf 500 matches... it happened to me like three times... so it isnt bad, just something that eeds to be considered for tournament play.
Also... I dont know how the adapters are working for people...
Anyone who has any information and would be willing to add it to this... feel free to post away...
Thank you in advance for anyone who contributes to this...

Some people have mentioned this before aswel, when grabbing there is some sort of delay, but not the kind of delay you have mentioned being it constant. maybe its your TV? Which one you, using?
The lag you are talking about is very commen with HD gaming. It happens when a game plays in a non-native resolution on your tv. Its caused by the TV re-scaling the picture. This will only happen in certain tv's that generally use a feature attempting to clean up the image after the re-scaling. Some manufacture's have figured this out now, and are either dropping those features, or equiping the tv with "gaming" modes that disable it. All of samsungs new LCD and Plasma tv's are starting to use this.
The Lag happened with me once during throw animation. It didnt affect gameplay at all. I do notice when I play those matches of 50 yesterday on a SD tv it didnt lag at all. Hmm maybe its HD.. DOnt know but the game is awsome.. So DR at EVO 2007 or what.
I own a Sharp HD TV that is capable of running at 1080p. Will i experience lag? I so far have not experienced anytype of lag with any other of my ps3 games. Could this lag problem could be sloved just by messing around with your HD TV's settings?Has anyone tried changing settings on their TV yet? I plan on downloading the American version simpley because Namco sometimes corrects glitches for the U.S. version.
Awesome thread by the way. Very informative. thanks

Triangle - Human Form
Hmm...I could've sworn he had TWO human outfits in 5.0 (it's been a while since I played as him with 5.0).
Namco did think of putting him in there but realized the consequences of releasing his unparreled manliness and kept him under "hack" check at the last minute. That means that pressing O will get his second human outfit.
Someone check that out.
