Alright had a question for anyone who has used a PlayStation > USB controller adapter.
I tried using an HV2G convertor today(Bought it at Fry's Electronics) and it was no good.
Sticks I tested it with:
Hori Real Arcade Pro (PS2)
Namco Arcade Stick (PS1)
Custom Korean Arcade Stick by Finkle (PS1)
PS2 Dual Shock 2
The buttons worked with the sticks, but the directional pad/joystick input wasn't there. I'm under the impression that it needs an analog signal.
I tested then with the dual shock 2 and the directional input worked. But I had to press the analog button to get it to work.
The buttons were mapped backwards too wtf lol... 1(LP) was 2(RP) and vice versa lol.
Now I really want one that will work with the digital signals that the HRAP series have... and the Tekken 5 anniversary stick. So if anyone knows anything or has ANY luck, please post!
It'd be nice if we can compile a list of convertors that will work!
i know someone on another forum who's in japan and buys stuff for other people and ships them out, dunno if you're interested since you already have Rox.
I tried this one http://www2.elecom.co.jp/peripheral...s202u/index.asp
with the dual ports and the stick is very sensitive it double taps on everything. So i'm gonna take it back tommorow and trade it in for the one Markman posted up. Oh I tested it with a HRAP and the TTT stick.
Mark, i think i might be able to get in hold of someone who can ship stuff from japan. But not 100% right now but can you show me which product and from what store we should ship
MarkMan, My friend tried the one you posted up today and he said it worked perfect for his T4 stick he said he could do ewgfs pretty well. I'm gonna go pick up two for myself today and test on my hrap and ttt stick. PM me if you needed some shipped to you. I know Hydra wanted to get some for himself.

I Add what I can to this.
Radio Shack USB to PSX adapter.
PS2 Pad- Will work in the PS3 XMB if you put the analog on but not in DR.
Tekken 5 Stick- I could only use the buttons in the XMB and in DR. Directionals not working
MAS Arcade Stick- I thought this would work becouse it has the analog/digital button. Same situation as the T5 stick.
Maybe a Guitar Hero peeps know a solution to this issue.
I have the Radio Shack converter and my PS2 pads work 100% in T5: DR with the analog button turned on. My MAS stick doesn't have an analog button so the stick doesn't work.
Does that Japanese converter allow MAS sticks like mine work without an analog button, or is it the same as the Radio Shack converter?

So there is hope.....
Stridajin, please may I purchase two of those through you, you will be doing a fovour to the Nottingham scene in the UK.
We used a radioshack one and it works but only for analog mode stuff. We had someone who had a stick and we had to wire the analog button on. It worked fine.
