-Anna has a juggle starter move you may have seen abused. The notation is u/f+1,3,3+4. If you block the first move, you can either jab her out of the rest OR sidewalk to get to her back. Everyone seems to stand there and take it and the move is 100% safe.

Note: Asuka is EXTREMELY safe. Played well, you shouldnt be looking to punish her as the majority of her moves good players will use are 100% safe. She does have alot of gimmicks though, here are some off the top of my head.


-Asuka's WS+3 has been changed to -19 on block for her in DR. Bruce unfortunately doesnt get anything (unless against a wall;B+2), but regardless, she is at -19 still. Feel free to do your thing.
-Asuka's f+4 is +3! on block. The most used gimmick i see is someone blocking f+4 than eating a CH 4 (which is 10 frames minus the 3=7 frames=you better not be attacking).
-Look out for setups using Asuka's excellent high crush d/b+2. There are too many to list (common ones, Blocked d/f+1,2 into d/b+2), but if your poke happy after you block a move your playing dangerously.
-Another gimmick, Auska's 3+4 blocked leaves little frame disadvantage. Asuka players will typically counter expecting you to attack.
-When Asuka hits you with 4~3 please dont try to get up and kick. She has essentially two options. One is her ultra safe 3+4 hop on your ass. Alot of people get hit by this. You have to time a very crucial D+1 the moment her feet leave the this good earth to succesfully get out of the hop on ya. Its the only way. Now, to discourage this, they may run up and do another 4~3 which tracks that clever D+1. Mix it up and stay smart.

Things to watch out for. Gimmicks to look for. General advice.
-Look out for D+1 setups. You block d+1 look out for ws+2, fc,d/f+4, ws+4, etc.
-And also keep an eye out for buffered f,f+2's. You can sidestep this move really easy, but when its buffered after you block a move (ex. electric) and you go for a jab your going to end up hurting.
-b,f+2,1 is only +1 for Hei on block. Dont just stand there. Your an 8 frame jabber, do something with that.
