The craziest thing happened the other day while playing with some peice of shit friends who cant play tekken but I did the d/f+1+2 with Hei on a kazuya move and it parrted it much like the one kazuya has off of the f+2. I cant find out what move he was doing because I wasnt paying attention to what was going on. But it is there and I will try to see if I can figure it out, unless anyone else already knows.
yup ive also seen df+1+2 (angel wings) parry punches, not sure if left or right ones only, and ive also seen it parry a throw attempt. i think its probably a really small window though.
d/f+1+2 timing for throws is kinda tricky. Must be inputed as about the same time as the throw is inputted. I typically use this move after a f,f+2 is blocked.
Let's us know what you come up with dude!!! Also, just to be sure, try against high and mid kicks too, plz.
oh I remember testing this move way back but did not report anything online because this move is very very situational. df +1+2 will parry all throws that can be broken by inputing 1+2... the down side is u have to input the move at the exact same frame as the throw.....and after parry, it is a counter hit which is gurranteed, but it is a pretty difficult move to utilize due to its small frame window.
I dont know what the deal is but I cant seem to find anything in particular for the move to parry. I think it must be as was said before if someone tries to throw you and the escape is 1+2 and you hit it at the right time it reverses it with the move. Not sure, but i'll look for it again.
df+1+2 definitly parrys heihachis ff+1+2 throw, as well as bryans ff+1+2. heis 1+3, and heis 2+4. i would assume that this then works for all characters throw, but as mentioned earlier it has a very small window to parry in.
im still working on seeing if the move parrys jabs, power moves, deathfists etc
Hey ppl Hei's d/f+1+2 parry's and punishes ALL throw attempts whether it be 1_2_1+2 break ......... I think the only exception to this rule is throw attempt done to Hei when he is in the crouching position e.g crouch throws done by king , jack-5 e.t.c no punch parry stuff here and trust me I've been testing that shit !
Only prob with this d/f+1+2 throw parry is that it has the smallest of window to be useful or be capable to even be spammed , has to be done at the same time when throw is being attempted on Hei
well, df+1+2 doesnt seem to parry qcf+2, and i was trying for ages for 1,1,2 and 1,2 and 1,1 and 2,2, and also 1,2,2. tho im sure if it could punch parry it must parry these moves or it would be half useless :/

d/f+1+2 doesn't parry punches............................ it just don't ...ODV out !
ok, Hei's d/f+1+2 parries throws that use the 1+2 command. I was playing with a friend yesterday and got it to work just fine. The window isnt that small, about the same as if you to escape it with a reg 1+2 break. I find it pretty easy to use if you can tell that the person is gonna use a 12 throw. Like Craig's ff+1+2 throw or the mishimas stone hedge. Try it out it is pretty nifty
I'm a little late on this one but yah, I recently discovered this before going on the Zaibatsu about it and it's true... it parries any kind of throw but no punches
BUT it seems there is a JF block for it much like Feng Wei's f+3+4 reversal. If not blocked correctly, it will hit on CH.
I poted awhile ago that namco probably did implament a JF block for it. Since it's just now being discovered, it can't be that useful. Seeing as it can be a challenge to "break" a throw with his demon wings(d/f+1+2), I am not worried.

Thanks for the info.
Yah I figured somebody discovered the properties already since I rarely frequent the forums anymore. Glad I helped out somewhat.
