Rage Drive - pushback on the first hit on block increased, hitbox on the 2nd hit increased, -14 on block now?

db2 - +4 on hit now? From +3 before Version D

ws12 - the change was listed as 'recovery frames increased by 2F', so maybe its +4 on hit and -7 on block now

ws14 - NEW MOVE - ws1 into ff4 is how it looks. nc, wallsplat(knocks away in the open just like ff4, no spin stun), 2nd hit screws. hs, d2, ws14 works as a combo

u/f+4 b+4 doesnt hit on Shaheen, just saw on Green. Was a pretty deep dash on the b+4 too. Drag is one of the larger "normal" sized characters and Shaheen is tall but lanky. I'll double check the archive once its up.

uf4 b4 seems kinda inconsistent

I saw it hit shaheen on green and then whiff the next. Same thing with drag in that vid. weird

Thanks for the update. What do you by the laser change? Also what do negative frames mean for the bf 2,1?

I wish they could add at least another change. I'm thinking make the 4 from his 1+4, 2,4 into a tailspin that would make combos look really cool.

The laser change means that it is harder to get a laser on accident. So like if someone were to whiff a 1+2 throw, and you would try to reactively press 1+2 to try and break the throw, you could get a laser and be left wide open. Before you would want to hold back and press 1+2 for a throw break to keep that from happening. But in Tekken 7 his Rage Art is b+1+2, so sometimes Devil Jin's would do their Rage Art on accident for trying to break 1+2 throws while in rage.

The negative frame change for b,f+2,1 means it is less punishable on block now.

Am I the only one who thinks his Rage Drive is shit if it is launch punishable. One would go for HS and keep his rage as well as do the combo with rage on instead of doing cheesy looking Rage Drive which give same combo option and you lose rage.

Agree. Not liking the Rage Drive so far.

But give it time... maybe the Korean & Japanese players will figure something out about DJ's Rag Drive?

Yeah its kinda underwhelming

maybe if it gave the free grounded hit in combos like hei or king it would be a little more useful

-15 means everyone gets a launch except steve and since it neither spike nor bound in a combo, it is a useless move.

Come to think of it, DVJ doesn't have a safe wallsplat anymore for mix-up. His f,f+2 is linear and punishable near walls.

It's -15? Damn it, Rage drives shouldn't be THAT punishable.

Everyone else in the cast safely gets away with their RD blocked, some of them are even extremely good on block. I see the point of making his RD punishable because it is an unseeable low launcher which can't be whiffed, but I see no point in making it launch punishable.

We usually have 30-50 damage left on average when we get rage, sometimes it is even less. Making his RD -15 means death anyway (no better than HS) because even shit juggles lead to at least 50 damage. They should either make it -12~-13 or -12~13OC so that DVJ still get a chance if it's blocked or make it damaging enough to seal 45-50% damage with a regular combo or else anyone would go with regular HS + keeping rage.

I don't see this in matches too and people are using the RD of others frequently.

Or improve the recovery so that Rage Drive, ff+4 S! works consistently. That was my problem with Bryan's f+4,1 B! in TTT2.
