Based on some testing today Id like to add 3 more launchers that now get a full combo thanks to df1, 1:

CH 4
db+1+2
WS 1+2

These moves are however useless and should be avoided.

CH4 is actually decent, it's got some decent range and it can catch people pressing buttons coming in.

I can't believe how much they've improved his combo damage (with his new skills). His combos do amongst the highest damage I've seen in Tournament play now. and he's still got an S tier grab game, massive lows, arm range.
This might be the highest tier he's ever been in a Tekken game.

I've seen Anakin use b3,2, df1+2 (edit; I mean df3+4) as a wall finisher and the df1+2 kinda looks unscaled, like Lars shoulder charge, or Law's DSS cannon (like a massive damage last hit).

Do you mean df3+4 as wall finisher? The shoulder?
That's a good addition, much better then his old df+1,1,1,2 combo on lower wall hits.

I still think T6 version is better with super awesome FCd/b+1.

Current T7 version looks alright, df+1,1 was a much needed addition to the lazy af vanilla version and his crappy combo game. Now we get decent damage off everything in super ez mode.

Has anyone else noted that (ws+2),1(CH) now yields a bounce juggle, just like (f+3),1+2 does?

I agree Jack-6 in T6 was the best he's ever been. The stages were also quite good in T6 for Jack.

For a character that has won Evo and KOIFT this section is rather dead.

Care to elaborate? Especially how the new system is better for Jack then for other characters.
I also dont see much nerfs.
ff+1 slightly nerfed because of S! instead of b! and the change of the get-up system.
CH FC db1 doesn't give +9 anymore. No big deal.
db2 no KD. No big deal.
FC uppercut strings lost NC on the 2nd hit. I liked this alot for wall pressure, but oh well.

Still, his core game is fully intact.

Even easier combos with df11. Better wall combo, gets b3,2, df3+4 instead of db1112.
F2 is actually worth CH fishing with.
SS1 hits on the ground.

Dunno, overall it seems like a wash to me.

You think the high followup can be hit confirmed? I know it can be delayed, but I dont see anybody using it as hit confirm mixup to FCdb+1.

FCdf2,1 can be both delayed and hit confirmed.

This may already be known, but is there a comprehensive list of Jack's new stuff? The other day I saw a vid where someone was about to do a follow up from b+1 (like this move has more to it) but he got hit out of it. Makes me wonder if I missed stuff after one of the updates.

EDIT: Reference vid at 3:08: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ezg17yneELQ

Gameplay is crap, but it's where I saw it. Maybe I'm seeing things? Upon closer inspection they might have just been trying to mash something after the b+1.

There is no follow up to b1. It looks like he/she was doing df1+2 after b1.

Welp. I guess I'm too early for a list of staple juggles.

Good thing I saw Saint and others playing Jack in tournament, or else I'd have no idea.

Hey gang, still getting a feel for the new game. Wakeup system is weird, since they basically get up safe. Going for oki setups seems kind of weak, so going for max damage seems to be best always. I also keep using d/f+2 into 2 still.

So. far my day one shitty combos are:
-d/f+2, 1+2, dash f+4, b+3,2,2 = 58 dmg, pretty reliable.
-d/f+2, 1,2 [b]+2 = super easy for 56 dmg.
-d/f+2, 2, u+1+2, 2, d/f+1,1_1+2,2 also works but tighter timing and less dmg. Being able to put \0/ into d/f+2 combos is fun.

-d/b+1,1,1,2 on the wall. Trying to work on getting b+3,2, d/f+3+4 consistent.

I agree with T6 Jack being best version. FC,d/b+1 frames were dumb, 1+2 homing mid, mid, better frames on 2. I do miss T5 Jack too, being able to force true 50/50 mixups after HCF+1 was fun.

Try

df2, 4, b1, df1,1 S! b3,2,2 most damaging (not for off axis)
df2, 2, ub1+2 S! f4, b3,2,2 (Just for fun if you miss the classic juggle)

And W!

db1,1,1,2 works on all
fcdb1,1,1,2 depends on the axis
b3,2, df3+4 only works on certain females
f4, df3+4 works on all, including Xiao Yu and Lucky Chloe

Your 50/50 option now is a db1 or a df2
