Launchers for Kazuya:

Standing:
ewgf/wgf 13~15f high 23dmg +5/-10

f,f+3 22f mid 25dmg -3OC

f+1+2 25f mid 20dmg -16

uf~n~4 25dmg -10

SS3 23dmg -7

Crouching:
ws1,2 13f 22dmg -12

ws2 16f 25dmg -18

CH:
4 12f 21dmg -9

df+2 14f 26dmg -12

b+1+2 22f 24dmg -8

f,f+4 18~19f 26dmg -9

d+1+2 25f -14

uf+4,4 25f Since 2nd sweep staggers on block, people might go for block instead of parry.

Instant Screw (iS):
CHb+4 24 dmg -5

From strings:
(1,2,4),CH3 hgih high low mid -2

(2),CH2 high mid -10

(3,1),CH4 high mid mid -6

(cd4),4 low low -27 (It is useful)

Combos:

Basic:

After most of his launchers i.e ewgf, f+1+2, uf~n~4, ws1,2, ws2, CH4, CHdf+2, CHb+1+2.

3,1,4 df+1,4s! cd4,1 works, Okay damage and is a staple.

you can also do cd3. df+1,4 and df+1,f+2 can be done for wall travel.

For other launchers:

b+3,1 df+3 df+1,4s! cd3/cd4,1 is an alternative option for WS2. You can also do df+3,2 df+3 df+1,4s! cd3/cd4,1

b+2,4 dash df+1,4s! b+3,1 dewgf/f+3/f,f+2 is an alternative option for ws1,2 if it connects from far or wall is nearer. Similar combo can be done after f,f+3 and cd4,4.

df+1,4s! 1,2,4,3 dewgf/f+3 is an alternative option for f,f+3 if it hits from close. Similar combo can be done after CHf,f+4, CHd+1+2, CHuf+4,4.

df+3 df+1,4s! 1,2,4,3 dewgf is an alternative option for f,f+3 if it hits from close. Similar combo can be done after CHf,f+4, CHd+1+2, CHuf+4,4.

df+1,4 seems to Screw after SS3. It is also confirmed after 2,CH2 which has a similar stun.

Aside from RA, RD, or CH d/f+2, EWGF launch, Kazuya's combos do crap damage due to scaling in FR.

ws+12, d/f+14, s! dash, b+31, dash, d/f+14 or d/f+1,f+2 = 57 damage
ws+12, 314, b+4, s! dash, cd+3 or cd+41 = 58 damage
ws+12, d/f+14, s! 1243, DEWGF = 59 damage
ws+12, d/f+14, s! dash, b+31, dash, cd+41 = 60 damage
ws+12, 22, s! dash, b+31, dash, d/f+14 or d/f+1,f+2 = 60 damage
ws+12, 314, d/f+14, s! dash, cd+3 or cd+41 = 61 damage (This combo is really inconsistent. You will need to dash d/f+14 after 314.)

EWGF, 314, d/f+14, s! dash, cd+3 or cd+41 = 62 damage
EWGF, EWGF, 1, d/f+3, d/f+14, s! dash, d/f+14 or d/f+1,f+2 = 65 damage

try b+3,1 f,f+2 ender......I hope it works after a 6 hit combo.......

Would you do a kazuya combo video with damage values, that would be great. I'm tired of seeing shitty DVK combos in matches which people drop a lot. It would be really great to see some of his staples too.

So TP yields upto 55-60dmg and ewgf/wgf yields upto 60-70dmg.

A few things got cleared up from the video.

1. TP 2,2s! looks better for shorter combos, b+3,1 connects after it. I hope 1,2,4,3 connects.

2. 2x ewgf is a must for good ewgf combo.

3. SS1+2s! 1,2,4,3 df+1,4 looks easy good dmg option.

4. CHdf+2 1,2,4,3 df+1,4s! works, good damage.

5. 3,1,4 df+1,4s! is pretty much staple after most of his launchers.

Recovery after 2,2 is slow so 1243 won't connect.

s! 1243, ff+2 is hard to connect so I don't really consider it a staple.

Most top level Kazuya players seem to like the following staple: s! dash b+31, dash d/f+14.

IMO, here's what I think Namco can do to improve Kazuya's combo damage slightly:

- Buff the damage slightly for d/f+3 and last hit in 314
- Add a ~ff function (like DVJ"S ff+31~ff) for the following moves b+31~ff and 1243~ff
- Add a new 2-hit S! attack move (b+2,3 would be nice) since d/f+14 tends to whiff occasionally after ws+12, 314 or ff+3, b+24

Kazuya's combo ability has really improved. Compared to TTT2, his combo seem so easy to do.
Df2 follow by ewgf can still be connected even if the ewgf is not a pewgf. That's great, people will be encouraged to try PEWGF, and even if they miss they can still continue their combo.
The b4 has an insane range despite being a high move. It hit an opponent stunned by df2 on counter.

For combo starter : I saw that db4 and f3 on counter could be used as combo starter. ( if the player is fast enough). So I guess 3+4 (on counter) on a lying opponent does the same.

Im actually content with his current combo damage. His wall carry and wall combo has been buffed anyway. Not to mention his f4 shenanigans on wall splat.

I don't they will add any movement function, they already buffed his wall damage.

What would be his staple d+1+2 CH combo? ws+4 into something?
Also after ws+12 can he go d/f+3 d/f+1 d/f+14 S! does that do decent damage?

ws1,2 2,2s! b+3,1 cd4,1 is 63dmg, most I have seen yet.

ws1,2 b+2,4 df+1,4s! b+3,1 f,f+2 is 62 dmg

ws1,2 3,1,4 df+1,4s! cd3 is 61 dmg, you can do cd4,1 instead of cd3....staple so far

alternative for DVK...in case

ws1,2 OR df+1,2

3,1,4 b+4s! cd4,1,tgf~uf, 68 dmg

2,2s! cd4,1,tgf~uf, 66 dmg....
