After all this time and no Heihachi thread, seems like Mishima players are either lazy, have given up or haven't watched anything yet!

Let's get some discussion going regarding Heihachi and his changes.

Rage Art: d+1+2 (So I guess he's lost the sneeze launcher)
Power Crush: d/f+1+2 (doesn't look like it knocks down anymore or it requires a clean hit to)
Tail spin move: b+1,2
New move: f+2,3 (I think it's his old backfist into f+3, not sure though)

I can't seem to see many changes, except maybe...

- deathpalm gives a close-up and slow down effect so after f+1+2 headbutt or ws+1 connecting a deathpalm might throw off your follow up timing. Perhaps using f+3 for quick recovery would be key in continuing your offense?
- 2+4 gives floor bounce into a combo
- 1,2,2,1 doesn't KD anymore
- f+2 looks like it has slightly more range, it might make f+2,3 a useful whiff punisher if it's NC but I never saw f+2 connect in the above vids anyway.

- 1,1,2 now gives wall splat again.
- CH u/f+4 is a launcher.

I thought about making a Hei thread but I decided not to as he seems to remain the same.
Nothing to discuss really imo.

Some thoughts:

- qcf+2 close up is a system change, not really Hei specific

- 1+2 is the exact same?

- 2+4 system change, not really Hei specific

- 1,2,2,1 What move is this?

- f+2 I'm fairly certain EWGF, ws+1 and d/f+1,2 will remain his top whiff punishers but you
could very well be correct.

QCF+2 and 2+4 might be system specific but any good player will understand how the system changes for them and will adjust to it.

1+2 is probably a mistake on my behalf, I will edit my first post.

1,2,2,1 is 1,2,2,1+2, you just don't need to input 1+2 that's all lol.

f+2 looks like it has some really good range on it, so if it's an NC (which most of Hei's strings usually are) it will be a pretty good whiff punisher.

As a servant and maining Heihachi aka Man God for 15 years, I don't there have been any changes on the gameplay for his move lists and what not. If so, there are probably minor changes.

I really enjoy watching JDCR and his Heihachi, especially considering the recent tests. Hei also seems to have another new string... it starts off with a punch notation and it ends with his f3. It looks rather safe, as f3 in itself is safe and will cause a launch state on CH. I wonder if the said string is delayable.

It looks like it uses the tailspin pretty early on the combo, but it could be just a move that is a launcher using an animation like tailspin, but you can still use the tailspin later on the combo, like Hwoarang's backlash.

That u/f+4 didn't connect on a standing opponent as a CH, the Leo was going for that airborne homing move out of BOK (dunno notation) and the u/f+4 clips her just as she gets into mid-air, causing the tailspin.

Is there any footage of it CH'ing a standing opponent?

I can't confirm, but they can give a free FC d/f+4 (You would need to do d+1,d to be able to use FC d/f+4 though).
