Rage Arts (Supers)


d/f+1+2
Laser Cutscene

Animation similar to his SFxT super. f+1+2 into EWGF -> Devil Laser
Very unsafe on block ( Atleast -15? )

Devil Kazuya!


The Devil Transformation from TTT2 returns. This time around it can only be accessed when you
are in rage and you give up the rage by transforming (rage art super combo attempt)

The transformation does not carry over between rounds.

Why transform? Devil Kazuya has unique abilities which make him a major force!

EWGF is MID (unknown if special mid or regular)
It has minor pushback and nowhere near +5 on block.

DK inherits Jinpachi's borderline broken d/f+1+2 launcher.
Mid launcher with good range, safe, and pretty much homing.

HS cd+4,1 now extends into a TGF~U/F. I wonder if tgf,3 works as well for wall splat?

He still has the d/f+1,2 Twin Pistons.

Devil TGF~U/F works as a Bound ender.

Changelist:


Overall Kazuya retains most of his Tekken Revolution properties. Except for
the u/f+3 knockdown into guaranteed follow up.


1+2: knocks down / wallsplats


d/f+1,4: second hit sparks, good dmg. Does not KD anymore.


d/f+1,2: no juggling, guaranteed stomp though


1,1,2 Heihachi's wallsplats again. Does Kazuya's as well?


d/f+1,d/b+2 (?) The second hit is Kazuya's d/b+2. Atleast -11.


b+4: Devil Jin b+4. Juggle on CH as usual. Seems to KD again and wallsplat on regular
hit like T6 DJ!


f+3: New animation on CH, opponent falls backwards instead of forward.


d/b+4: New animation on CH, bigger frame advantage?


d+3+4 (stomp): same animation as CH d/b+4 when it connects on standing opponent


TGF: seems to do more dmg now?

can anyone confirm if Devil's EWGF is a mid, justifying the poor properties on block?

^ mid EWGF would be cool. There has to be some perk like that to give up a super for devil form.

Kazuya definitely looks strong in this game.

I saw someone do his new ch b+4 to df+1,4. Maybe you could hit them w/ df+3 before df+1,4.

using flying kick in solo combos will be awesome. I can't wait for this game!

Devil Kazuya EWGF being mid would explain a lot. But it should be proper mid... considering the frames are so bad. Special mid wont do.

If we would get confirmation saying that his EWGF is mid I don't see how that would warrant using your super and risking getting killed.

A mid EWGF would make TP nearly useless though (Only useful in case you're not sure you'll be able to punish something with a EWGF).

Didn't Kaz have s-mid WGF in Tag 1? Or was that Hei?

Still puzzled over the nerfing of D. Kaz's electric, though. Maybe it's just temporary, or something we've yet to discover.

All Mishimas except Jin had special mid WGF in Tag 1, Heihachi and Jin were the only ones with EWGF, and Heihachi's was a special mid.

Im pretty sure that DVK's electric having no pushback was actually a glitch; he's also seen losing rage when turning into DVK, and that's actually a bug so I wouldnt be surprised if EWGF having no pushback was a bug too.

Maybe the consequence of turning Devil is losing rage, I only say this because the Devil transformation doesn't transfer between rounds.

Its actually not a bug. Devil Transform is a rage art. As soon as you utilize them you lose your rage

status as they can only be performed once. Kazuya has to make a choice: either you go with the laser super,

or you transform into Devil.

It really doesn't bother me that DK is only a rage art...because honestly, I hardly ever remember even using DK often if at all. No d/f 1,2 bound or mach breaker was "anerf" () for me.

I don't see why anyone would transform into DK as their RA. Laser spam? That only works against the most clueless of noobs, even A.I. sidesteps that, lol.

Even as a Mishima hater I have to say it makes no sense to not let the devil transformation carry over to the next round, if you're now supposed to even want to transform.

Hopefully they change it. And make vanilla Kazuya have the same EWGF as DK

maybe Devil is going to be a standalone character, which is why they're delegating Kazuya's transformation to just a rage art.

I doubt Devil would be a standalone, unless he became a boss character again like in Tekken 2. With them wanting to trim the roster size, it seems unlikely. Boss might end up being something cheesy like Devil Kazumi, or Kazuheiyajin, Jinpachi's dad.

Here's my speculation for Kazuya in T7.

Possible flop moves:

- b+4
- 1243
- cd+4,1

and maybe 2 more new flop moves.

DK's EWGF not giving pushback on block is probably a glitch and might be fixed in the next version.

Yeah, I think it's a glitch too. Harada did say that the location test version is basically outdated by two months now.
