Hey guys,

I know that Tekken is pretty dead now. We can blame a lot of things. But with my discussions with several Japanese players, such as Yuu, Jackler and Kurokuro, its because TTT2 is very similiar to T6BR. Duh. Yes ofcourse, anyone would know that already. but really, the transitions from T6 to TTT2 went very smooth, we need no time to adapt and explore new system. We, get, bored, real, fast.

And now theres T7 location test in the corner.

Harada explains Location test: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rscvz1FflbI

Yes, we could expect new things from T7.
Its said that T7 posses new system. No Bound. Simple like T5. Also meant that juggles would shorter, and we would rely more on our movelists, reflects and basic knowledge. Its not really groundbreaking, but its a new age. And for a gamer that has been following Tekken since T1, i am very looking forward to this.

Rumor has it that the rosters would be limited. It may meant that not only clone character would be gone, but also, characters that may be dead from the canon story would be gone too. IDK. But, our Feng will be there.

Although i dont really hoping for him to get a significant boost. I do hope we get interesting new patch for us to hit the lab more often.

I have my best buddies in Japan, Yuu_norespect for helping me testing Feng.

Lets welcome T7.

sorry man. my xbox has crashed about a while ago.

btw, here's the first video of Feng in T7
Yuu played it. You can see a new move: db1,4 (on 0:49).
And Feng absorbing damage but still continue to hit his ff+1+2 on 1:46. Its called the Power Crush

also on 2:13 we seems could quick stand from launchers?

aannd, we can connect Feng Rage Art from a Juggle! (2:22)
Qcf+3,33,db1,4, ff Rage Art!

good stuff adipati!

it looks like fengs new move db1,4 is plus on block (3:09) but it also looks like a mid, high and the high is probably duckable.

so far he looks really good! its not looking like much has changed from tag 2 but we are gunna have to wait for frame data to confirm that.

my question is, is will db4, f4, and CH1+2 still launch even though we dont have bound anymore?

f+3+4,2 launching normally would make me use f+3+4. I say use because I NEVER use f+3+4 with my Feng right now. I just dumb down my Feng.

Hades you mean f+3+4,4, the low?

You should. You get good options from STC.

STC 2 doesn't launch normally, you're right, but it's still good damage (I can get 84 with Dragunov and 87 with Leo). It works well against a lot of people because they have a tendency to duck when you do STC.

STC 3 is a good move to throw out against people who don't duck the stance. It's +8 on block which pretty much means that they don't have any other option but to keep blocking and you can just keep poking them.

STC 4 is a good tool for a wall combo ender if you want to go for oki. You can do d/b+1,f STC 4 to surprise them. They can tech roll after the d/b+1 and block the STC 4 but most people don't duck at the wall so it's really good. If they have learned to duck that, however, you can go crazy and do f+3+4,b KNP 2 to wallsplat them for another combo.

STC 1 is pretty much a piece of shit and there's no reason to use that over the other options. You can combo off of it but it's not a move you should rely on.

I'm dying to know the notation for his new tailspin move shown in the gameplay trailer. That shit looks tight.

It's d/b+1,4 but that's not the move I mean. I mean the new one-hit move he does on Marshall in the gameplay trailer.

I went through Feng's T7 movelist and I found out that the notation for that move is f+1+2, meaning they probably got rid of his old f+1+2. Along with f+1+2, d/b+1,4 is his only tailspin move.

If true that sucks! f+1+2 was a great wall combo for its BT okizeme.

3,3<4 is a better ender than f+1+2 if you want wall okizeme. It does more damage and puts you in the same situation as f+1+2 does.

3,3,4 from my memory was not guaranteed unless the first hit connected before they touched the wall, or if they were really high up on the wall.

f+1+2 was 1 hit and recovered faster. Or are you talking about 3,3,4 in T7?

3,3,4 in T7 seems to be the same as in Tag/TR which is what I'm talking about. But you're right, you need a relatively high wall splat for 3,3,4 to connect (and your wall carry generally leaves them that high anyway). Maybe some of the bigger characters will eat it even if they're slightly lower on the wall. And if you want faster recovery, you can always cancel the last hit.
