I thought I'd make a thread about who we're using with Paul, why, and the benefits of that character. TBH, I'm getting tired of A. Ogre and I'm looking for another character. In the spirit of the thread though, here's some decent shit with them.

Bruce:
df2, df4, db2, b12 b!df31(do it fast so the df3 misses),qcf2 = 90
df2, qcf1, b12 b!ssl, df31, qcf2 = 85 and easy as hell.
df2, qcf1, f2, b12 B1 df31(do it fast so the df3 misses),qcf2 = 84 damage and SUPER easy
uf34, b12 b!ssl, df31, qcf2 = 86
qcf1, qcf1, b12 b!ssl, df31, qcf2 = 96

Ancient Ogre:
fc f1~5,32, f1, f1+2, ff d421+2 = 88. All red life.
fc f1~5,32, f1, f1+2~5,ssr uf343+4,qcf2 = 107
ws2~5, qcf1, qcf1, b12~5,ssr uf343+4,qcf2 = 109
bf4~5, qcf1, qcf1, b12~5,ssl uf343+4, qcf2 = 113
uf4, 2d1+2~5b12~5ssl uf343+4,qcf2 = 94. Really good off a generic hop kick.
After any launcher, AO can 2d1+2~5 into Pauls b12 into red life combos.

Jack 6:
ws1~5, qcf1, qcf1, b12~5, ssr df32, qcf2 = 99
df2, 1, ff1~5, b1+2, f4, b322 = 83
Paul starting
qcf1~5,f4, ff1~5 b!,b1+2,f4, b322= 101
df2, qcf1~5, 2, ff1, b322 red life killer
df2, qcf1, f2, b12~5, ssr df32, qcf2 = 84

Paul starting
df2, qcf1~5, f4, ff1~5, ssr ff344, B2 = 96
df2, iws3, db2, b12~5, df32, qcf2 = 85
ch cb4, qcf1~5, f4, ff1~5, ssr ff344, B2 = 123 (fuck)
ch b2, qcf1~5, ff1~5, ssl ff344, ff1+2f2 = 107
Jack6 starting:
df2, 2, f4, ff1~5, ssr ff344, Jack B2 = 90
ws1~5, qcf1~5, f4, ff1~5, ssr, ff344, B2 = 106
ff2~5, ssr qcf1~5, f4, ff1~5, ssr, ff344, B2 = 107
dfdf2+4~5, qcf1~5, f4, ff1~5, ssr, ff344, B2 = 109
ff1+2~5, iws3, db2, b12~5, df32, qcf2 = 95

Paul gets a 32 to pick up after Jacks ff1+2~5 for really good damage. Also Jacks dfdf2+4~5 throw leads to big red life combos

Forest Law:
After any Law launcher, you can d23~5 into Pauls f1+2 to do red life damage.

Kuni:
Kunimitsu
Paul
Set4 = f3,4

Kunimitsu on point:
ub3+4 32, b1,2 B! df1,3 qcf+2 95 dmg.
ff+2 32, b1,2 B! df1,3 qcf+2 93 dmg.
(df+1,)3 32, b1,2 B! df1,3 qcf+2 91 dmg.
(df+3,)2 df+3 f4~124 B! uf3,4 Set4 88 dmg.

Paul on point:
CH df+4, uf+3,4 b1,2 B! df1,3 qcf+2 119 dmg.
qcb1+2 f3+4, f4, f4~124 B! uf+3,4 Set4 99 dmg.
qcb1+2 f4, f4, f4~124 B! uf+3,4 Set4 95 dmg.
ff2,2 f4, f4, f4~124 B! uf+3,4 Set4 94 dmg.
qcf+1 3,2 b1,2 B! df1,3 qcf+2 92 dmg.

Marduk:
Paul/Marduk

CH d/b+2, ff, d/f+3,1+2~5 u/f+3,4, ff, u/f+3, ff+1+2 102 damage

Nina:

df2 or uf+4 or qcb+1CH or similar.

qcf+1; df+1~b+1~5; SSR+1~b~u~f+4,3,3; qcf+2 91 dmg
db+2; b+1,2~5; SSR+1~b~u~f+4,3,3; qcf+2 87 dmg

df+2 or SS+2 or similar.

qcf+1~5; df+1~b+1~5; SSR+1~b~u~f+4,3,3; qcf+2 90 dmg
qcf+1~5; b+1,2~5; SSR+1~b~u~f+4,3,3; qcf+2 88 dmg

Paul/Nina and Nina/Paul.

d/f+2, d/f+4, d/b+2, b+1, (delay)2~5(b!), ssl+1~f~iWS+1,1+2, qcf+2 (*1)
d/f+2, WS+3, d/b+2, b+1, (delay)2~5(b!), ssl+1~f~iWS+1,1+2, qcf+2
d/f+2, WS+3, d/b+2, b+1, (delay)2~5(b!), ssl+1~F+1, qcf+2
d/f+2, f+2, b+1,2~5(b!), ssl+1~F+1, d+4:2:1+2 (*2)

d/f+2, d/f+3,2~ss+1~b~u/f+4, 1+4~5(b!), b+1+2, f,f+1+2 (*3)
d/f+2, d/f+3,2~ss+1~b~u/f+4, 1+4~5(b!), b+1,2, f,f+1+2 (*3)
d/f+2, d/f+3,2~ss+1~b~u/f+4, 1+4~5(b!), qcf+3+4, f,f+1+2 (*3)

I haven't really explored much of anything with tag combos, but sometimes I like to do this with these two to take away red health.

d/f+2, d/f+1, qcF+1~5, b+1, (delay)2(b!), etc...

Hei:
ewgf, ewgf, ewgf, d1~5 B!, ff344, dash f3+4 2,1 - 104 dmg
or
ewgf, ewgf, df1,2 B!, ff344, dash f3+4 2,1 - 100 dmg

one Paul/Hei tag assault wall combo
df2 W!, 4, b12~5 B!, 1,b2 4, df112_df1~b,2 - 90dmg

I'm pretty sure most PAul mains go for the badass factor, most use characters like Law, Bryan, Kazuya, Heihachi, Feng, Jin, Bruce or Steve.(No lame girlie teams please)

I use Paul and Bryan because they have easy combos to do. Bryan's db+1+2 is a nice TA filter that launches the opponent high then Paul can get a clean hit qcf+2. I can also get 102 damage from Bryan's Fisherman slam with a TA combo.

Paul + Bob.

I also use Paul + Steve, but Paul + Bob seems to do a better job, mainly because Steve is harder than Bob.

I usually have Paul on point, mainly due to Bob really doesnt need Paul to extend or help his combos. Their staple combo with Paul on point does 90ish Damage and is easy to do (Paul combo into Bob ws+3,3+4, Paul deathfist).

Also, having Paul on point means that when he tags back in after Bob's been beaten up, he has netsu and is 10x scarier.

Both can be played defensively and are also able to put on pressure when needed and both can deal massive damage.

Oh and also I have been using Jinpachi + Paul But put Jinpachi on the back burner for Bob.

I play Paul and Armor King.
Paul's demo man TA works nicely for AK's iSW ender. AK's 3+4,2 works well for most Paul combos.
Paul qcf+1~5 leads to 99 damage.
AK's DU~5 leads to just under 90 damage (easy staple) or 107 if you don't tag, just use TA.

Also stuff like Paul df+2,qcf+1~5, (AK)d+2b! work pretty well.

Overal I just think they look bad ass together. Good hard hitting team.

I team paul with forest cos they are "Babys First Tekken", simple team with really damaging shit.

they both get 90+ from d/f+2 or hopkick. loads of tag throws to impress the noobs with, paul b+1,2~5 u/f+3,4, qcf+2 is horrible damage. law ff+4,3~5 ssr b+1,2, 4,3,4 is around the same.

law gets to tag off any CH flip kick for huge red life (d+3+4,3, d+2,3, d/f+4,3, u/f+4) and the good old CH b+1,2,1 for 140 damage.
pretty much any combo between them is going to be 100 damage.
they can also be played very differently so cover each others weaknesses. i think they get netsu sooner also, 44% instead of 38%

look man the move doesnt track sidestep, but if you sidestep it will hit you
steves b+1 isint safe because it only auto guards high and mid, but you can cancel it and block all lows
Jaycees u/f+4,3 is launch punishable on block but if you try to punish it the 1 follow-up will hit you

Paul d/f+2

Law d/f+2

Paul QCB+1+2

Paul QCF+1

Law U/F+4

oh yeah,

paul d/f+2, d/f+4, d/b+2, b+1,2 law u/f+3,4 paul qcf+2 is 94, but i wouldn't bet money on landing it consistantly. still, the 88 damage one is pretty reliable.

I like Paul/Nina, Nina on point, mostly because they've been my mains and I'm most comfortable with them. AK/Paul is a sick team, too. Nina's got great TA filler in ss+1~f+2, df+3,2,3 and ws+4,3, and Paul is, well, Paul

Trying to mess around with TA combos for Nina and Paul, came up with this the other day.

Nina: df+2, df+3,2~ssr+1~f, iWS+1 x3, 1+4~5, Paul f+1+2, Nina ff+1+2 (charge if they lay), ff+3, or oki. Either that, or deathfist with Paul, and Nina can run in and do stuff.

paul + jack. I'm new and honestly havent even incorporated tag combos into my game, but this team is good enough to win without launches, just relying on standing game, and very high rage damage.

I'm on the same page with Phragonist. I use Nina/Paul (Nina on point) and Jin/Paul (Jin on point), but I haven't gotten comfortable using tag combos in game yet.

Yes, if you do TA too early in the juggles less red life damage for your juggle.

I have a couple of those, I just can't remember how much damage they do.
I would rather put up the combos when I have the time to confirm the damage.

I'm thinking of building a new team with Paul. I would not be going with Law as his partner as I am thinking whether I should go for Steve or Lars. Which of them is better as Paul's partner? I used Steve in T6 and I am willing to learn more but I am also willing to learn Lars.
