I believe that having a lone Jinpachi partners' thread (apart from Q&A/strat) is a good idea.

What are your teams?

I've started using Lars & Jinpachi team. I believe that this is a very good team not only when it comes to single characters, but also synergy (or maybe mostly). Benefits of using this team:
- having two of the best characters when it comes to punishing (both punish standing at i14, although Jinpachi's d/f+2 is high)
- both have good homing moves and great whiff-punishers
- good wallsplats in both cases (Lars at -12, Jinpachi at -10)
- Lars fills Jinpachi's movement, poke and safety holes
- both characters' Tag Assaults work great with the other character: Lars with f,f+2~f,3 for Jinpachi's u+4 and ender of choice (either b+1,2 or 1, f+1+3, depending on the number of hits preceeding the ending) and Jinpachi with u/b+1,2~f, FLY 3,4 (or FLY 3,4 alone), making it possible for Lars to use f,f,f+2+4

I use Dragunov as my main with Pachi as the secondary.

Some combos are
Jinpachi in ws+1,1~5 f+3,d/f,u,1,2,1 u/f+3,4
Jinpachi in d/f+2,1 d/f+3,1~5 f+4,4,3 u/f+3,4
Drag in d/f+2 4,1 f+3,d/f,u,4,3~5 u+4 f,f+3

Drags movement makes up for a lot of what jinpachi is missing.
Both have good wall pressure with drags b+4,3 and pachi's 1,2 and b+1,2
Both are great for wall carrying.

TO is probably his best partner for pure damage but the Ogres all hate every character so I hope you don't like having rage.

i main jinpachi/bob. they both makes a strong team being strong poking characters with good punishment both have 14 frames launchers from crouching position and the juggle damage is huge. Also this is the team which wins Master Cup 5 in the hands of pekosu.

Jinpachi/Wang. They're buddies so they'll netsu fast. Jinpachi being a punishment beast and hard hitter versus Wangs poking power makes a team with characters that need a very different approach.

Jinpachi and Feng are pretty much the same as Jinpachi and Wang. Mostly because if you look at those two characters fundamentally, Feng and Wang have a lot of the same attacks, just different ranges and properties.

I'm pretty sure in the TA! and tag launching area, Wang and pachi are much better and probably get more damage than Feng and Pachi. They also have positive netsu for each other so that's a huge plus. Feng likes pachi, so he gets +netsu but it only goes one way. I fucking love my team though, holy shit.

Shuriken: posting it in one thread will probably be sufficient. If someone can help, they will.

Who needs rage when you're doing 100+ damage BnBs, yeah.

It's the same predicament going against double Mishima, they never get rage unless you give it to them, but at the same time are doing 90+ damage BnBs non-raged. It's weird how much damage disconnect there is in this game, especially when you consider T6 was balanced around everyone getting similar damage. You're either doing below average, average, or godly damage.

I've been trying out Kazuya/Jinpachi!

So much better netsu than my main team of Jun/Kazuya. And the team throw for tagging in Kaz is pretty sick.

Been playing Leo/Ganny for most of the game's current life. Just tried switching over to Leo/Pachi the other day...this team works so much better together than my other one. Pachi's juggles are short and hard hitting, allowing Leo to come in with f+3~D, BOK 1,2, before coming back to Jinpachi. They just work really well together (though I'm still getting used to him as a character)

Jinpachi seems to be good with anybody since his damage alone is monsterous.

He's good but he doesn't allow for really malleable combos and is pretty strict on his TA! options, maximizing damage can be rough.
