This is a good start for the Roger Jr/Alex combo thread. We will include the information that you need to build combos with Roger as a point and partner and there will be plenty of examples added for different teams as the game proceeds. Please post combo info in this thread and if there are any errors let me know! Thanks.

Thanks to Alcan (Naclam), Jive, Ghirlanda, Jordyce for the combos being listed so far.

For solo combos please reference this thread, note damages need to be updated then we will list in this thread, but these all should work.

● Tag Combos at the Wall

Notes regarding walls:

For short wall carry use 1+2, 1,2,3 w! or f+2,1, b+2,4 w!

For longer wall carry using a b! you want to use a TA that lets you end your combo with d+1+2,1+2,2 or f+1+2,2.

On wall splats it is best to use AGF or ws+3>3 now instead of the old d/b+4,3,... since the damage has been buffed on those standing normals.

Examples include:
Long wall carry with b! - u/f+4, bob 1, ws+3>3 b! TA AGF, f+1+2,2 w! ff AGF_ws+3>3
Medium wall carry with b! - u/f+4, bob 1, ws+3>3 b! TA u/f+3,3 w! bob 1, f+4,3,2 101 damage
Short wall carry with no b! - u/f+4, f+2,1, b+2,4 w! ws+2,2 b! TA 1,2,3, AGF

Wall splatting mids that lead to similar combos as below include:
- ff+2
- ROC 3+4
- ff+4
- CH 1,2,3
- u/f+3,3
- df+3,3

Roger/Alex TA fillers for wall combos:
- AGF
- u/f+3,3
- 1,2,3
- b+2,3,3+4
- f+4,3,2

CH 123:
- CH 123 w! u/f+3,3 w! ws+2,2 b! TA 1,2,3, AGF 130 damage
- CH 123 w! u/f+3,3 w! ws+2,2 b! TA AGF, AGF 131 damage
- CH 123 w! f+1+2,2_b+2, 4 w! u/f+3,3 w! d/f+1+2 b! TA f+4,3,2, u/f+3,3_AGF ~120 damage

u/f+3,3
- u/f+3,3 w! u/f+3,3 w! ws+2,2 b! TA AGF, AGF 160 damage with rage

The range on Alex's df+1+2 is amazing. Alex can do hopkick BOB~1, df+1+2 B!. I did it from all distances repeatedly, including max hopkick range... to thoroughly test it. It hasn't whiffed yet.

Haven't really messed with it as a solo combo starter though. Probably will do less damage than his regular combos. Just throwing that out there though if somebody wants to play around with it.

Dang, should've called it the Rolex combo thread.

Let's get these two merged, there's really not enough big differences.

problem with this couple imho will be the fact that u don't have a counter to roger hard match ups. what to do vs a jack, or a kazuya, or a bob? imho better have a different partner.

Team composition are definitely a preference. Pairing Roger with someone who has better punishment and range is a good idea.

u/f+4, bob 1, ws3>3 b! TA AGF, AGF 86 damage
u/f+1+2, 1+2, d/f+1+2 b! TA AGF, AGF 89 damage

Also here is another combo:

ss+4 (CH), d/f+1+2 b! TA d+1+2 1+2 2, AGF or (possibly) 1+2 ff2. That's the highest damaging combo off of ss4 (does mid 80s I think).

I was trying to find longer wall carry combos with Rolex. The above combo was what I arrived on as well. However, I did notice a way to slightly extend it (every bit helps right?). Same combo, just two little tweaks on executing it.

u/f+4, bob 1, ws+3>3 b! TA (dash forward and deep) AGF, (slight step forward) f+1+2,2 w! ff AGF_ws+3>3

I tested this on the pool stage (eternal paradise). Rog or Alex on point, default starting position P1 (left side). If you do the combo straight up, they will fall short of the wall. I first was doing the AGF moderate speed, and would take a good step forward with 1+2,2 ...it was random. Sometimes they would barely clip the wall, sometimes fall short. But when I dashed deep AGF, plus slight step forward 1+2,2...they hit the wall every time.

Amazing find sir. Rog and Alex magic 4 is so underrated btw. It's a 13 frame, safe on block, plus on hit attack, with a quick combo on CH. In T6, Roger could land the following:

CH4, [df+1,2], [df+1,2], d+3+4 60 something dmg

Alex is taking it even further thanks to his ridiculous headbutt. Some people didn't give the move much thought in BR because it's high, and df+2 is mid and only 2 frames slower...so why not just go with that instead? And believe me, I used the shit out of df+2 lol. But standing 4 is only 13 frames and had it uses. A safe 13 frame move that leads to 60 something damage on CH shouldn't be overlooked. Hell, Steve Fox's notorious b+1 is 13 frames too. Granted, Steve had bigger damage potential on his CH, but it was -14 on block. Alex's standing 4 now Rivals Steve's b+1. I would say Alex's is far better because its safe on block and can get insane damage off it now too (Roger getting 60 something damage is still respectable imo).

And since it's only 13 frames, I've been tossing it out sparingly after a successful 2,1. (Since 2,1 is only +4 on hit now, df+2 is no longer a frame safe option at i15. It loses to jabs). And as of Yesterday, I started implementing Alex's headbutt follow up on CH, with a buffered TA... omg the damage. lol Thanks Stoic Steve! Prior to your post, I was still doing the old T6 Rog CH4 combo.

Just remember that if you guys are trying sidestep and do it, you have to tap f~4, otherwise, you'll get ss4 instead.

Any tips on the iWS 3 after the BOB in UF+4 combos? I just can't figure this out at all. I've gotten it maybe once in a couple of hours in practice.

What method are you using to input it? Crouch dash method? Down~release method? Downforward~release method? It would be easier to help if you detailed your method of execution.

Most people who mess up on this are doing d~release, 3,[3]. Tap the downforward direction instead. (not down, then forward. The single direction of downforward, rlease~3,[3]B!) It's quicker then trying to go into a crouch with down. And definitely much quicker than actually doing a crouch dash 3,[3].

Should also mention that BOB 1, iWS+3,3 doesn't work against bigs... or Wang, for some reason.

Roger and Alex also join that list. If you follow a hopkick with BOB~1, it totally whiffs on them.

f432 whiffs in a ~5 combo against King. For example Kuma df21~5 Roger/Alex f432 whiffs while against Mishimas it works all the time.

Edit: Oops it whiffs on heaps of characters (thx jordyce for a great find)
