Differences to Jack-6:


-Charged d/b+[2] doesnt extend arm, turns into hit throw. 48 damage

-Charged b+[2] doesnt extend arm

-SS 1-Huge mid launcher, hit effect like d+1+2, taggable. 29 damage. Very slow, but safe on block.

-SS 2-Mid power punch, turns into hit throw. 36 damage. Safe.

-SS 1+2-Two hits m,m. Knockdown, Wall-Splats. NC(?) 43 damage. -13 on block.

-b,d/b,d,d/f+1,1-L,h, debugger into power punch. 48 damage total on standing opponent.

-d+1,2-m,m. Hammer to deathfist. 2nd hit knocks down and wallsplats. NCC. Both hits -16 on block.

-1,1,1-h,h,m string. Hits come out pretty fast. NCC. No bound. -12 on block with opponent in FC.

-1,1,2-h,h,m string. Last hit comes out rather slow, knockdown, about -17 on block, good pushback.

f,f+1+2,1+2 m,m. 2nd hit different animation, less range then Jacks f,f+1+2,2. Both hits -15. Uninterruptable.

f+1 Mid poking elbow. Animation is just like (2),1. i14, -3 on block.

Some other moves (u+1+2, EMGF, 1+2,...) have different animations, but seem the same property wise.

hcf makes him rotate his torso instead of swinging his arm.

b+1+2-Clock up. Parry properties unknown yet.

Throws have different animations


He is smaller then Jack-6 and therefore has less range/smaller hitboxes on alot of moves. Alot of combos that work for J-6 dont work for him.
Examples:
"staple combo" f+4, f,f+1, f+4, b+322 last hit whiffs, same for d/f+2, 2, f,f+1, f+4, b+32(2)
P-Jack WS1 to Jack u+1+2 works, but doesnt vice versa.
b+322 has less range on the first and last hit.

He cant "instant" FCd/b+1 like Jack-6 can.

As a plus, he can land charged u/f+[1] as a very damaging TA filler.

He can tag out both of his standard throws to Jack-6.

Some sort of low (not totally sure, could be mid as well) into mid string. It kinda looks like some version of FCd/b+1,(,1,1),2 without the two lows in between. Could also be re-animated d+1,2.

So hype to play double Jacks again!

Anyways, he has what seems to be his old d+1,2 with a new animation, see about 35 sec in here: P.Jack reveal Looks NCc, wallsplat.

Debugger into a high swipe, seems to be NC, no jail.

A new command grab where he balls them up and throws them. Looks taggable to Jack-6.

Keeper, I didn't see anything off of his 1. In fact, I haven't seen his 1 at all yet. Wondering if he has Jack-6 1 or old P.Jack 1,1,1


Speculation:

I didn't see his d/b+1 at all. Wondering if it's Jack-6's d/b+1 or the FC,d/b+1 animation, and what frames are.

I'm assuming he actually has a 1 break throw now.

Wondering if the crosscut thing is f,f+1+2,1+2 or just f+1+2,1+2. Assuming the first hit is tag bufferable like J6. Wondering if there's a low mixup.

Since he has J6's WS+1 now, wondering if his old WS+1 is out. If so I'm going to miss it.

CH f+3 stun?

In TTT, SS+1 was safe on block and unsafe if tag buffered, wondering if it's the same now.

Does SS+2 AT work on aerial opponents?

Since he has a debugger now, I'm wondering if he can do MGF with HCF~d/f+1 like J6. I would've rather he kept HCF+1 as MGF instead.

Tag stomp (5~u)? If he has it, it might work like tag crash now.

Does he have delay stomp still (3+4, 3+4 on drop)?

b+1+2?

Father's love (the P.spank)?

Old f,f+2? J6 has it with WR+2, but P.Jack's version was way better.

And here's to hoping his DG is back to having a decent hitbox *TING!*

-How different is d+1? Considering the J6 goodness they gave him, some D+1, FC shenanigans would be awesome

-How many u+1+2's can a couple of Jacks land?

-Like Brahma mentioned, what d/b+1 does he have? I would actually be kind of bummed if they just 90% copy/pasta'd J6.....

-Does he have the old school d/f+1,2,1,2 series? I hope so. See above...

I'm also interested to see just in general, through TA. Like, d/f+2, 2, f,f+1 B! TA, u+1+2, u+1+2, u+1+2......they could probably get a good six or so in. Assuming I understand this TA thing. I haven't read in depth about it just yet...

I thought he could. I know he can be tagged in and tag out on that move.
Also with P. Jack, I think MYK did this as well. (going off the top of my head)

I heard that Jack-6 can do P.Jack's hold U tag in from TTT1. Didn't work when I tried it though. If so or not, I wonder if P.Jack still can.

And no, you cant tag off J6s u+1+2; if P-Jack can tag his, it will be so sick. The most u+1+2s in a row possible will *maybe* be 3, (early TA u+1+2, then two more) even that is somewhat unlikely.

Yep, that crossed my mind as well. f+1+2 command and taggable would be damn juicy.


Right now he looks alot like J6, having pretty much all his go-to moves and combo stuff (f,f+1; d/f+2; 2,1; b+322, u+1+2,..) but (fc)d/b+1. Im not that sure what to think about the SS stuff; it looks slow.

Yes, Jack can do P.Jack's hold U tag from TTT1. Just tag and hold U.

Here's wishing that the SS stuff are usable and not just for show...hopefully they'll make P.Jack a COMPETITIVE character and not a joke character, same goes to the rest of the returning cast.

Hes at the very least somewhat decent. f,f+1; 2,1; d/f+2 and good combo-ability alone give him a solid backbone of moves. Add a decent low and hes in the money.
