Ok.
Got 2 play TTT2 a very little bit (is that even english?)
We had a beta version, so things like Tag crash was not in it and such, so i dont kno how helpful this will even b.
NEways, here goes:

Like dino said, me n him tested df+4... its i14, not 13.
df+4,3 == m,h ... NCc

WR + 3
on hit, gives straight FDFA bound, as opposed 2 just leaving FDFA. i didnt test if i could tag assault off it on normal hit.. simply bcos i am gay & didnt think of it (grrrrrr)

in the version we played, LFS df+3_RFS df+4 did not bound

LFS uf+3+4,
is as expected. it seemed quite decent if i hit sum1 in their bak/side-back with 1,2,3 LFS uf+3+4.. but that might have just been bcos i was playing scurbs (dino included!)

SS+4 CH
leaves opponent trip bakwards, but we knew this already. u r kinda forced 2 RFF ff+3 B!

RFS d+4,4_d+4,3
nothing 2 report. none of them r NC. personally, i HATE mid=punishable/high=safe mixups.
although, i say that now... i bet i will RUN 2 this move wen i am under pressure! lol, only 2 get pissed off and die!

tag combos
Using hwoarang as the assaulting character (i.e. B!~5 with sum1 else and bring in Hwoarang...)
i could get things like:
LFF 4,4, f+4
uf+3,4,3
LFF 3~4
1,2,3 LFS uf+3+4

lol
i TRIED:

2,4 RFS 2,4~f, RFS 2,4~f, RFS 2,4~f... *

but my partner got bored and tagged out, leaving hwoarang in.
Its strange, bcos u can do strings, or strings that cancel in2stances... but.. my partner LITERALLY thought "fuck this" and just tagged out.

hmmm... mayb i was doing it 2 slow..??

LFS d+4_RFS d+3
Its SHIT what they have done 2 these sweeps. I was struggling 2 get a combo off them:

LFS d+4, cc, db+4~f, RFS df+4 would bound, in theory, but the last hit does not connect.

Thats about it.
I hav 2 apologise 4 not testing out more, but, EVERY1 and their parents wanted a go on the machines and they were not tryna hear: "look man.. i just wana test this shit!"

we had two separate threads in T6 and TTT2 forums, have been moved and merged. unfortunately this meant that the (earlier) T6 one is now the first post, but we'll prolly start a new thread once we've gotten some more clean solid info.

to add onto starscream's points, I don't see what makes Hwo good in this game, as he seems marginally worse than his T6 incarnation- nerfs to ss+4 and flamingo sweep, no generic d+4 now (?), no way to punish soccer kick at a distance, his homing move doesn't do anything that b+4 doesn't do better imo, and RFS low strings look terrible.

The new staple for LFS d+4 or RFS d+3 is WS 3 into BT bound. Saw it on a vid.

But I don't know why they nerfed these sweeps. Are they any faster or safer? Or is just a policy of not doing regular juggles off lows?

Also, seems like WS 3 is faster. Inatekken says it impacts in 13?.

If his WS 3 is i13 (new 13f WS punisher) and his old WS4,4 is +7 like it use to be then Hwo will really be able to turn the momentum around more from WS.

And with his d/f+4 being i14, and if its still +8~ish on hit, then really guys, its not so bad.
Yeah, his fla sweeps aint gonna be worth it anymore....but they were always risky anyways.
Seems like its a general thing in the game that they've nerfed low juggle starters.

Valid points but to me the game system looks like it got better around him. I haven't played it yet but just from observation in order to maximise your netsu damage your secondary character needs to be able to come in strong and do damage. Netsu juggles don't seem to do as much damage as just standing hits & counter hits which is where he has always shined and now got a tad better.

It seems to me their intention was to take the focus away from fishing for a launcher and to force you to lean on your mixups even more. I'm not sold on this new RFS mixup either BTW so we'll see how it works out.

IMO he's equal or marginally better but largely because the game got a bit more suited to him.

YES WS44 is around +6! Maybe, maybe not +7 like it used to but it's WAY better than +2~+3 or whatever.

Apparently New RFS d+4,3_4 is a good mixup at the wall. If d+4,4 is blocked, at +9 it guarantees a mixup. And Hwo in RFF for mixups right in your face is really good.

Nope, but you also have the mid option or just do the RFS d+4, which is -2 on hit.

Could imagine RFS d+4 as a lowpoke.

Interesting. But now that I think about it, I haven't seen d+3,3 blocked either. Maybe find a video where d+3,(hit)3(block) happens?

Unless the other player just wasn't blocking, d+3,4 is now NC. Wow that's really good.

The animation is shit. It should look like f+4.
They should've made d/f+3 the 13f move since that's linear and this 14f.
This move should allow you to end in RFF after the first kick.


4,3~f

The same move from BR but you can now transition into LFS

Meh.

MOVE CHANGES:

- b,b+4 is now d+3+4. The original d+3+4 from standing appears to be gone.

Finally. Not being able to use that move from standing was what made that move useless.

- LFS d/f+3_RFS d/f+4 are now B! moves

It's gonna look like shit but it's good for gameplay.

- f,f+2 throw is now 2+4~b. f,f+2 appears to be empty now.

Don't like this one bit. This used to be the countermove for opponents who'd take advantage of Hwoarang's kicks that took a while to wind up: LFF 3, d/f+3. Hwoarang's got plenty of standing throws already.

- WS 4,4: +4~+6 on hit and counter hit

Finally.

- u/f+3+4,4 is -13 on block
- u/f+3+4 could be -10 on block

No qualms.

- WS 3 is 13f
- LFS b+3_RFS b+4 is now homing

Fuck yeah.
