For character specific matchups.

OK Ima start it spicy I personally feel like these are counter picks to jack

-Ling Xiaoyu
-Zafina
-Lei
-Capos

Iv been using F3+4, DF1, DF3+4 and FF+1 as my primary solutions to their virtually grounded stances
and allot of Korean back dashes -

I was hoping someone here could either give me a bit better insight on these matchups

Thinking about adding a bit more b3,2,2 and debugger

ws+4 is the best option for the grounded stances. Also, use only b+3, not the full string as that would be suicidal and debugger is too slow to use at certain situations. You have to be patient when fighting against these characters.

Are you kidding XBL, Jack is very dominant over the capos. Gets a punish / a good punish where a lot of the cast get nothing / underpunish and has both fast interrupt and pick up options for rlx and hsp stance in d/b+1 and b+3,2 respectively.

In all honesty I had no Idea - capos players are hard as hell to come by on and offline- I threw them in my counter pick list mainly bc of their grounded stances and jacks dependence on highs and proper spacing

Jack vs Capos is a very easy matchup if you know your tools.

ff+1 beat everything
b+3 beats everything
f+1 is a good mid with better tracking but less range than b+3
df+1 is another good mid to spam
db+1 hits RLX
db+2 hits RLX
ff+1 hits RLX
uf+3+4 can be used as an option select to hit the Capos out of RLX.
SIT stance aka d+3+4 can be used as an option select to avoid 50/50 launcher mixups.
2 jab floats his jumping shenanigans
5~u, 3+4, 3+4, 3+4.... can hit the Capos out of RLX if you time it correctly

When I have the life lead, I just mash b+3, f+1, df+1, and ff+1. If you're playing the matchup correctly, you shouldn't be the one struggling.

Umm not sure this is the right thread. Asking ur opinion on jack vs true ogre matchup.

From my experience Jack has great tools against ogre. Solid punishers, great rushdown abillities. But imo jack Cant utilize them against ogre.. The matchup is pretty even, maybe the advantage is with jack.

Jack is really solid overal. No any major weaknes. His sidestep is not the best due to his size, hes not the best against rushdown playstyle or is he strugling against lockdown play style?

Even though i have played against jack for many years, i still strugling against him. Let me know what u think
