maybe my post was unclear

I mean to say... is it perhaps possible to have your partner start an unblockable, then have you yourself start the option-select with your control character as your partner is in the unblockable animation

much like in the video I posted, Jin starts the unblockable and Asuka comes back in and does db443... but instead of doing db443 do a quick recovering move so as to bait the tech and make them get hit from the unblockable

but in a different situation, choose a well tracking but high unblockable which will cause them to duck, and allow you to reset them with a mid launcher such as Asuka's 1+2

in that vid the UB was guaranteed, but that kind of thing isn;t there anymore

don't worry, i know what you meant, bascially so far nothing like that has been discovered as UB tracking has been nerfed and tech rolling allows you to get away from such set-ups otherwise shit involving bruce's UB in t6 would be a major problem

although stuff with grounded hitting UB's like bears salmon hunter would work if your opp guesses wrong, then again maybe stuff like that would be possible on kuma due to his hitbox, eg in t6 julias f1+4 UB is guaranteed post b!

eg TA! AK 1+4 (flip) UB JC f1+4 UB works if your opp stays down too long or decides to tech later but if they're mashing on tech the whole thing can be avoided (according to Snap)

you can still enforce guessing games if you train your opp to stay down/tech at a certain time tho

I was practically famous for doing that in T5: DR. Sooooo many unblockable tech traps with Asuka in that game.

Is either Asuka's or Jun's mid now?

Both are high. I meant for TA if you could somehow get a f+3 unblockable with one into a W! and from there, if you can hit it on wall or if they tech fast, you can get a f+3 with 2 spins and have them eating it if they duck of if you know they are going to stand and block, eat a third spin

Ah, gotcha. I had 1 set-up vs bigs into a unblockable at wall--but, it was so situational it was next to impossible to pull off.

Anyway, has anyone attempted d/b+2~5 yet? I have a strong feeling it should work, and the ability to crush any high or low into red bar damage is wayyyy too good to ignore.

Outbreak, another thing for you to test if you can...

Does 2+3 punch parry still give a free d/b+4,3 on close knd? If so, 2+3, d/b+4,3~5 into b! should be possible, giving asuka the ability to MURDER jab happy opponents for free.

Does anyone feel like Her tracking was nerfed? I was playing this nina/anna team today. I walked right the entire and I could not track him for squat. Like, in T6 WS+1 tracks but I couldn't get that. So, I try FF+2. No good. Okay, lets give D/B+1 a shot. Nothing. He beat everything to that side. B+3 worked, but it is unsafe and he eventually caught on. So, I'm with RDM on this one, for SSR players at least.

I didn't test her punch parry, BUT d/b+2~5 is possible. I would have continued, but the Salaryman insert a coin and proceeded to troll me to demotion, so I got pissed and left.

The SS in this game is improved.

On the other hand, stick to f+4.

I've been thinking quite a bit on the whole "perfect partner for Asuka" question, which has made me wonder on one specific thing...

Can jack hit with \o/ after Asuka's d/b+2~5? If so, I'm pretty sure it should be possible to dash under the opponent, leading to a standard juggle instead of the backwards juggle you'd normally get. Also, the same may work on WS3~5.

Anyone with access feel like trying that one out? If it works, Jack may prove to be a very strong partner for Asuka, as Jack is strong at range while getting inside is a tough aspect for Asuka. Of course, this would also depend on what Jack can get after asuka adds d/b+4,3 to a combo (but I think at minimum f,f+1 should hit)...

Hmmm Feng's f+4 should turn opp for a normal combo.
If someone could test something like
Asuka/Feng d/b+2~5, f+4, f+1, f+4,3~5 B! d/b+4,3, f+3,4

Either way - I'll rather stick to my Asuka/Leo dream team - something tells me they'll work really good as a team.

I could've sworn the ability to flip over opponents for a combo was removed with TTT2? Hence why I point out jack, because his move would give time to run under the opponent.

Btw... Drag WR+2 should work on after asuka's d/b+4,3~5 after any launcher. Damn thing works after Lee's WS2,3~5 as well.

all iwr moves work after asuka's db4,3~5 - messed around with it in italy, obviously stuff like drag iwr2 leads to combo's over isw so its the better option

Perfect team would be either Asuka/DJ or Asuka/Lili (imo).

For that db+2~5 combo, Drag 4,1 works, saw it in a vid.
