i saw a combo for King and AK..

AK lead: DU DU d+2B! TA! 1+2,3 AK u/f+3 b+3.. but i think he could've done an iSW after u/f+3
King lead: u/f+4 f+2,2 f+1 b+2,1+2B! TA! 3+4,1 KNG fff+3+4.. looks pretty epic..
Signature Jinpachi is pissed because there is no icon for Ogre yet..

1) Yes he can. I can't wait for the home version to break out to test damage.

AK/King: DU, DU, iws+4, d+2B! [TA! b+1,2] uf+3, iSW

will work, but I wonder about all this fascination with 1+2,3.


2) 3+4,2 is better. Does more damage but still gives space for an iSW.

Hmmmmm.... Can someone confirm this from some video of the final version cause i havent seen it since the first video of TTT2 at early building , and havent seen it at final version at all... If it is still there im gonna be AK/King team for sure

Hey dudes, I'm in Tokyo at the moment. Played TTT2 for a solid five hours yesterday, using mainly King and AK. Really pleased with how it plays; the damage revisions are good. And the visuals! Finally, Tekken looks as good as VF(T6BR looked fucking shocking), and I'm surprised how easy it is to finish combos with Shining Wizard -- easier than T6, which was itself easier than T5. If anyone (hi Mario) would like me to test some stuff out, let me know.

Go to combos I'm using are:
(King start) Launch > f+2,2, > 1 > b+2, 1+2(+5) B! (AK) 3+4, 2 > (King) Shine!
(AK start) Launch > 1+2,2 > d+2(+5) B! (King) b+1,2 (AK) uf+3 > Shine, motherfucker!

I can't confirm whether (1),(2),CH1 > 2,1 still works, sorry. Out of all the games I played, I only used it twice or thrice; it always connected, but I'm not sure if it was guaranteed (opponent could have been hitting buttons).

Hardly used d+1+2, but it looks sexy. Hurts on block.

WR 2,2 is very welcome. Use it in CD mixups (don't duck my throws, bitch).

Ultimate tackles aren't harder to break,the animation's just sped up. Looks and feels a lot smoother (like everything else in the game).

Oh man is the competition ever stiff here in Akiba. HEY Arcade has a whole floor dedicated to it. TTT2 cabs and cigarette smoke as far as the eye can see! It's wondrous.

P.S: Jinpachi is an immense faggot.

No again. Even in that juggle vid, he had to use df+4,3 or d+2+4 after f+1+2. Once more, you'll need some pretty special spacing and a w! for a f+1+2 to air-GS to work, but by then it would turn into a wall throw, unless you hit with a magical angle as well.

As of now, there are no known special tag combos with King et al. I wish there was one tho.

I don't know why you feel 1+2 is faster. I doubt it was a move that needed frame tweaking.

I'm just curious about the input and execution, but I'll get around to that soon enough..
Check your PM though man, hopefully you haven't left yet.

If you get the chance, you or Snap.. maybe can test for me and confirm whether Irish Whip initial grab is breakable or not.. just the plain King one, not the tag throw.
The apparent break would be 1+2 if at all breakable..

By that, I mean at least as quick as the break on Steve's wall push, otherwise the extensions would come out and it would no longer be a 1+2 break..

After a weekend of playing, I think, or at least, I feel:
- d1+2 is pretty much crapstick range, especially since no one wants to get too close to King to begin with..
- b+1,2 does not give as much plus (if at all) frames as before.. reason being, in BR if b+1,2 hits, df+1 is virtually uninteruptable if they're within range, now they can easily jab in between. Probably where the above launcher can come in handy if your opponent is jab happy after getting hit..
- df+1,2 is more punishable and more hit confirmable.
- GS harder to tech..?

1) Agree, although it's not bad as a random crush every now and again. Especially when you think they'll jab.

2) Also seems to push back more. I noticed GS will whiff after it.
