Hey adipati,

From what videos I've seen (and to a lesser extent, at General Discussion for TTT2), tag comboes are quickly becoming the go-to approach for dealing damage.

I'd like us Feng users (and even those who don't) to discuss Feng's potential (or lack thereof) for doing tag combos, partners, combos that incorporate it, etc. What I'm wondering is whether this is a good place for it, or if we should move it to a separate topic.

I'll also do what I can to add more life to this board (or at least the videos topic); right now though I'm not seeing too many standout Feng players, but the game is still pretty young.

Thanks.

Hey, Mundo.
You are absolutely right. It has been on my mind lately. I have been thinking of discussing and sharing some thoughts about Feng Tag combos if paired with another character. But, well, the game havent reach my place yet. So i cant really post anything except wild imagination.

But, since theres two of us that, atleast thinking the same topic. I'm gonna open it right away.
Many Thanks, Mundo

Let me know Adipati if its ok to post this here but It looks like Feng's shoulder might be better judging from the damage in this video.

Maybe I'm looking too hard into it. I just wanted your input on it.

The life bars have been reduced because of the 2 life bar totals for each team. That's why it appears that the shoulder does more damage than before.

st9389 got the point.
but, for all we know, until the Japanese got the arcades, all we play and saw was the "Location Test". Even the ones that placed at several Game Shows. So there is always the possibilities of the damage of the shoulder itself has been increased, or the lifebar has been reduced, causing the shoulder to look more damaging. Although if the second scenario were to happen, we must realize that not only shoulder, but all moves has been damage incrased. Nothing for sure untill Namco release the actual game frame data.

What about Feng's Tech trap? Is it still in the final build?

in the final build? i dont know yet.

But here's some good news.

BT 2,2, the second hit, gives juggles on CH (similiar to Bryan's b1).
So we have a very promising BT game now.
We could spam more BT, then using throws or BT3 (since BT3 now gives easy juggle, so its a high risk-high reward now) to make our opponent duck more, and bait the BT22.
Feng just got bigger!

on the bad news, qcf+2 more likely is -10 (or more) on block. So its Jab punishable. Sad. Since i thought, its okay if its a slow moves, aslong as its jabsafe.

It is quite simple. Feng needs to team with someone who can play incredibly offensive to counter/ balance his own weaknesses.

Use the other character to do the most pressuring and damage, and use Feng more when you are low in health.

New moves
3,3,4 (can transition into BT after 2nd kick)
2,4,1 (can transition int BT)
1+4
QCF+2

It looks like you can tag out after the 1+3 throw.

Peace

For some reason when I click the link, nothing shows up for me. Stupid browser
So anyway, I'd just like to ask if this 4 moves listed here are Feng's new moves for TTT2?
And what are some new properties in his old moves?

Hey Guys!

TTT2 Just came in to Philippines,I test 4 characters and one of them is My main character. These are some changes in TTT2 and properties as well:

- qcf+2 is -13 on block
- 1+4 is +5 on hit, and not only is that its used for poking, but for combo as well, I did some combos using 1+4, but d/b+1+2 is the only consistent move after 1+4
- CH b+1, b+1+2 becomes more damaging......
- f+3,4 last hit is from -16 to -15 (Still launch punish WTF!)
- 2~1,1 Set-up has OFFICIALLY been taken out
- f+4~b~f,u+2 is better that 2~1

So, is 1+4 still punisheable on normal hit? Can they duck the high if the low hits?

About f+4 into u+2, is it better than f+4, f+4,3?

I knew CH b+1, b+1+2 was more damaging!! Ha, ha! Glad to hear this.

- please do more observe on 1+4.
- qcf2 is -13? Not -14? Try punish it with Law's 14f df2.

btw, TTT2 machine will be set up TODAY in my city.
so hopefully we all could fill in the blanks in Feng TTT2

- Nope they can't duck the high if the low hits? so its NC but once the low ducked, you'll get launched

- I don't use f+4,f+4,3 in a match so I suggest f+4~b~f, u+2 IMO

- yeah I guess b+1+2 is now from 28 to 35 damage

and yeah qcf+2 is -13, we tested with jaycee's 14f ff+3, it blocked. but punish it with feng's 13f b+1+2 it hits.

So, 1+4 is now a NC. In previous builds it wasn't. That's great to hear.

I think you should retest QCF 2 block stun. f,f+3 is not a reliable way to test. You could be doing it in more than 14 frames because of the f,f execution. Test wih a single input execution move, like Feng's own d/f+1.

Does anyone else feel like Feng's 1+3 throw should wall splat?

So far Feng only has 4 launcher moves that tag able
1. qcf+3, 5 TAG
2. ws+3, 5 TAG
3. f3,4, 5 TAG
4. f+3+4,2, 5 TAG

The best use if ws+3 (since some character doesnt have ws launcher) and f+3,4 (since its a long range punishing tools). Three of them (except f+3+4,2) relatively easy to use and connect with partner juggle filler, bound and TAG again to Feng or not. f+3+4,2 launch enemy FDFA (face down feet away), so it relatively hard to connect with common filler and Bound.

Btw, those four i found may be not all of them, since theres couple more need testing, like BT d+3, BT 2 CH2 and KND 3+4.

Btw,
1+4 is a very good moves for pressuring. i.e db3,ws4,1+4 nice string.
and BT setup and mixup are one of our key to win now.

Feng's item move!! He gets the nimbus cloud!!! So AWESOME!

What item is required? And since it's a tag transition item, does it give any type of advantage? I assume one perk is that it low crushes on the way in?
