Merged threads and trying to consolidate accurate info. - Brahma
New moves:
WS+2,1:
-i14, mm(?), last hit B!
-2nd hit OFC blocked 2nd hit NH
Kick overhead smash (f+3,1+2?):
-2 hit string, m,m(?) Does not NC, possibly NCc
-last hit B! Normal hit juggle hit
Upward piston shot (no idea on notation, as every direction +1+2 is taken)
-juggle filler juggle hit
Move changes:
FC,d/b+1: New animation, +5 on hit.
f+2: damage buff (unconfirmed)
SS+1 hits grounded (unconfirmed)
Pretty much everything else looks the same.
Misc. Notes:
-You can tag off of u+1+2 mid combo. This is especially useful at the wall, since you can wall splat, B! u+1+2 with Jack then finish the combo.
-B!~5 Jack upwards piston shot is a nice popup near the wall.
-HCF+2~5
f,f+1 range maybe; other than that it seems unchanged. Looks good enough, with the d/b+2 still guarantied.
fcd/b+1 other than the different hit animation (opponent goes on one knee) it seems unchanged; maybe a little less + frames
The WS "2hit punch crap" is WS2,1; NOT WS1,2. I have seen the (again, most likely unchanged) WS1 in a vid already. If this is 14 frames or faster (doubt it, though), this wouldnt be the most useless move for Jack.
The players didnt really do or try anything new, so all in all he seems pretty much the same to me at this point. Even the old d/f+2 staple still works, lol.
No offense, but if you start a TTT2 Jack thread, dont do with a missinformed whiny post on a game that is still in the testing phase.
New moves I spotted so far:
-WS2,1...seems NC, also quite fast (14 or less *crosses fingers*). Second hit floors on CH.
-???...Upward piston shot, looks like Jacks version of DJ upward laser. Imagine d/b+2 or b+2, just upwards and faster.
Here it is used after b~5 twice, once at the wall and shortly after in the open: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9yjB...o_title#t=4m39s
more Jack action follows.
SS 1 hits Marduk on the ground, he is clearly not moving!
-???...Charge up knee. Looks very slow, but mid and safe. No idea what it does on hit.
u+1+2 connects after b~5, sickness!!

It's really hard to gauge speed/frames from watching vids. Especially if the animations of something have changed. Unless something more concrete is known (such as x move gets beat out by i10 after FC,d/b+1) I wouldn't panic. Plus, it's still in development.
Just because someone else posts up a knee jerk reaction to something doesn't mean you should repost it as fact.
Next week I'll get on compiling some info for new stuff.

Which other thread? I hope you don't mean the one I put in the GD section, because I was clear in that it was a right upper, left overhand move (ws+2,1).

No, you didn't. You posted a subjectively named thread and included a whole bunch of emoticons. That is hardly just reposting information, you were editorialising it.
Regardless, out of the four pieces of information you posted one was entirely false and any idiot who watched the videos before rushing out to spread a falsehood could have seen that. Two more were 'feels like' and one was extremely unspecific.
There was a video of Jack doing FC d/b+1 into FC d/f+2,1,2 on hit and scoring a CH when he interrupted Feng's d/f+4. Doesn't mean it's unchanged, because playing guessing games based on video footage is stupid.
This thread is a good idea, but I think the name should be changed to something neutral and only confirmed or semi-confirmed information should be posted, with wild speculations left out for now.
LOADS of Jack play in the two latest Maxi vids.
Although they show not really anything new, judging from them, most of Jacks moves remain untouched.
Even the old wall combos seem to work.
d/f+2 -14 (or more). Punished by Lars b,f+21. Most likely no change.
f+2 maybe damage buff. Has a hitspark now.
Windmills the same
hcf+2 the same
f,f+1+2 the same
f,f+3 the same
WS1 the same
d/b+1 the same
....
I get the feeling Namco is doing just what they did with TTT; keep the characters mostly the same, with a couple moves added, some slight property and system changes and throw in that TAG.
No character seems to be drastically redone (well, Julia to an extent and TOgre/Jinpachi, which was to be expected)

Anyways, came in here to see what everyone thinks about jack now. To me he looks like a great tag partner, especially with w!, b!, 5 jack u+1+2, 5, (wall combo). I noticed he can't combo off windmill punches anymore.
I saw 1 video where fc db1 got blocked, then he ate a ws4. I hope it didn't become unsafe.
The knee has a followup. Could be a decent bound move, other than that it looks kinda crappy. m,m with ok range, but not even NC and looks WS4 punishable.

I'm assuming the notation is f+3,1+2? Could be wrong. We'll just have to wait and see if this and ws+2,1 are new bound moves.
