Fighting during the holidays has never been this fun as NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. announced today that TEKKEN®6 has gone gold for the PSP® system and will be available nationwide on November 24, 2009.
Just in time to help shake off the Thanksgiving tryptophan blues, TEKKEN 6 retains all the intensity of its console brethren while providing an extensive single player experience with challenging gameplay modes and robust features. The latest iteration in the TEKKEN series is ready to go. Are you?
TEKKEN 6 for the PSP system is rated “T” for Teen by the ESRB and will be available at retailers nationwide on Nov. 24, 2009 and through the PlayStation®Network on Dec. 10, 2009 with an MSRP of $39.99.

Can't wait for it.... First I thought it will be released at the same time as the console version.
Great news! With the delay of the JPN version, I was fearing that the US version could be pushed back as well. Now I have something to do on the crapper after Thanksgiving dinner!
The US version is coming out before the JPN version?
Isn't the JPN version coming out somewhere in January?
What's the cause of such difference in release dates!?
Quick question, are there any difference between the Japan, Euro and the US versions of the game?
In Tekken DR Euro version for the example there is a bug where you can't push "Start" through Mokujin's losing animation, is it the same with the US version?
Thats great to hear. I expected it to be released this month. Not sure abt the JPN and Euro versions...the more Tekken , The merrier
Oh and really hope there is some type of connection between that can be done for the PSP version to the Console Version of the game. It make an even better reason to get it.
I went out today to look for tekken 6 on PSP and then asked "retailers" for when they'll get the game in, they all said "December 11th"
And Tekken 6 on PSN is already out, and not for us in the UK
Great fucking job with the news, and watse of a day, Sony and Namco really hate europeans and us.
My feelings exactly man.
But hey it'll be a good Christmas present for most of us. My PSP's analogue stick broke ages ago and I've haven't used it in 2 years. There's no point of me getting it unless there was something that is truly desirable on there but I'll still visit TZ for people's reactions.

I know dude, 15 days to wait, and the online is more frustrating than ever on console
Broken psp analouge, you should get yourself a PSPGo for christmas, the dpad and analouge are very good.

Some people said the PSPGo is kind of disappointing...but I suppose I can get it plus Tekken 6 so I can play it in college instead of playing my guitar and practicing out my album lol.
I like the game overall, although the menus and loading screens, oh and the sounds are much lower quality.
The graphics are smoother and characters themselves are bigger in size, I love the new knock down animations.
There is one thing that I find bad though, it's the backgrounds, they are just too distracting and the players somehow blend into them, because of this, couple of matches and it gives me an eye strain, didn't happen with DR.
i like Tekken 6 on psp! especially the ghost battle and gold rush.. BUT how come there's only 4 stages with AD-hoc vs mode?? and the movement seems a little bit slower than usual when playing ad-hoc.. and i have to aGree with CyberGhost that some stages, makes the characters blend into the background.. which makes them harder to see.. darn.. i was expecting too much.. oh man, i hope there's also a patch for psp that would improve the following: no slow replays, additional Stage map for Ad-hoc, vs mode no command training, no move record in practice mode too.. AW MAN!!
So in summary?: T6PSP good for portability and practice and bits of fun here an' there. Beats T5 in character roster, graphics and customization but lacks in a few no. of features and storyline.
