they would like to know what you think of tekken 6.
how about a list of suggestions:
- fix the lag problem with online play
- save online settings so we dont have to set preferred number of rounds, etc every time.
- allow created sessions to remain even when host leaves
- in ranked matches online, give option to play the next match without character select
- allow naming of online lobbies
- show list of players in a lobby without having to join
- add P2 customizations
- dont pair up with overseas players in ranked match, or at least make optional
- dont pair up with bad connections in ranked match, or make optional
- fix mokujin so he switches characters every round
- make the game true HD 1080p
- bring back record command feature in practice mode
- show both connectivity icons so players know status of opponent
- clean up hud below matches. perhaps move above health bars
- allow cursor select hold in ranked matches
- allow connectivity filter for created sessions (e.g., allow only green connections)
- when in practice mode: take away the "PRACTICE" showing on the screen.

It's just mind boggling because things related with the internet improves VASTLY with each passing year. 2 years later and it's worse than DRO (which I didn't even think was possible). I just...can't even wrap my mind around it
IMO, the best way to give Namco feedback is to try and have MarkMan talk to/ask Namco about it
Namco will not care unless a TON of people email, and not just here. It will have to be a world wide bitch fest. That's just how a game company works. One person no matter how much they mean to the community will make a game company spend a few hundred grand working on and testing a patch. Namco really fucking half assed this game. I'm just hoping they just put out a shitty version just to meet the release date and are working on a pre-release patch, which a lot of developers do.
There is no reason in hell SF4 can play so well online and BR is so fucking awful. I rarely have a match that is not VERY good in SF4, and it's the complete opposite for BR.

You have any idea what the update is? Brian installed it today at work and when he tried to go online on the PS3 version it made him download an update that failed to install every time haha
I'm just hoping they work to solve these issues...and soon. I think if they wait until the Winter patch to fix the lag issue, the scene will evaporate quickly
I also miss the controller rumbling when someone would enter my room. Dunno why that's been removed

My thoughts exactly. I'm shocked at how bad BR is online.
im disappointed with the whole release. the user interface, the resolution... eh... online w green bars is like dro w yellow bars for me. not unplayable, but not too enjoyable.
The bars in this game are very deceptive.
Green is nothing but it.
Blue bars, which is rare is still sluggish. After playing some intense 1on1 offline matches today, no type of signal ive had online was even CLOSE to offline.
Even t5dr, I had moments when I played someone close by where the game was at a steady 58-60 fps. How do you get worst, especially with experience under your belt and competition who have done it well? I will never know.....

AV and I played around 10 matches, and we each could pull off like, 1-2 complete juggles each, and the juggles we did were the easiest juggle you can do w/ our own character.
Yoshi u/f+3 2 f+1+2 B! b+2,1~1+2 KIN f+2... I pretty much had to mash this one. Any b+1 combos missed miserably.
Is NAMCO following the phases of Software/Game Development such as :
Design - Ok
Game Development - Ok
Unit Testing - Ok
SIT Testing - Ok
3 UAT Testing for Online - Questionable? Test for Actual Scenario
4 Stress/Performance Testing for Online - Questionable?
5 Soft Launch for Online - Questionable?
3 to 5 would have identified the flaws if they have done this. Just try 4 user during testing in US for example then they could have measured the lag.

While we know that you guys have spent TONS of effort making the scenario campaign, there are quite a # of us that do not care about it at all. So please do not force us to play it by making it extremely hard to earn money outside of the SC mode to force us to play it for the sake of unlocking the costumes.
To be honest, I am almost opt to find a game-save from gameFAQ just to get the unlocked costume w/o going through the tedious SC mode. After all, Tekken is a FIGHTING GAME. If I wanna play side-scroller, I would have played other games instead.
(and yup, I already gave SC a try, but it really didn't attract me much.)
An hour spent in the arcade mode w/ my friends - 80K earned
5 mins spent in the scenario campaign - 700K earned (after selling Lars' costumes)
Since most of the costumes are expensive, you would have to spend more than hours just to get what you need in SC mode, and I know I rather spend those hours in the arcade/vs mode instead.
ONLINE SUCKS MAJOR ASS i played 8 games and out of those 8 i played 2 the connection constantly say syncing even with full green bars WTF is up then the game drops and i get a message saying a penalty was issued, REALLY!!!!
if your playing online for the trophies do player matches there horrible but easy 2 get ranked is the worst FN thing i ever dealt with each time the connection failed i got a lose my rec is 1W 4L this is only what was recorded and i only played 2 actual games fyi if you play online kid cudi spams (christie) like theres no tomorrow and thinks he/she is actually good
