As most of you know we usually have extensive move lists on this site well before the game is released on console. This time around however, due to circumstances out of our control, this hasn't been possible and will be involving the community to get the complete move lists up as fast as humanly possible.
In the past we have been fortunate enough to get an arcade kit on loan from Namco America in Chicago when the games were released in the arcade. This unrestricted access is what allowed us to go over each character with a fine comb and compiled move list that provide more in depth information then the lists included in the console game menu.
No stateside arcade release meant we didn't have this luxury for Tekken 6 or Bloodline Rebellion, and so far we have not had any early access to the console release either. Preparing in depth move list is a very time consuming affair. Going over all of a character's moves multiple times for regular hits, counter hits, crouching hits, grounded hits, etc... and inputting all this data takes about 3 to 4 hours on average for the first revision. Multiply that by 40 some characters and you get the picture. We hope that involving the community for fine tuning will speed up getting the list to their final state.
The Tekken 6 move list project will consist of 3 stages, the first stage of which is now complete.
Stage 1: Preliminary List
Every character is now online in the Tekken 6 Section of the site. For new characters these are basically the official lists converted into our move list format, with very little to no information on move properties. For returning characters they are a copy of the DR lists with new and changed moves tagged and inserted. In other words very inaccurate at this point but they provide a quick bird's eye view of what new and changed moves. Some of the character forums have stickies that provide more complete information in an easy to find format, for other characters the preliminary list might be a quicker way of getting the info.
Stage 2: Revision List
This is were we do our thing as soon as we get the game. Adjust damages, fix hit ranges, check properties, verify data, etc... This is the time consuming part I mentioned earlier, I have some vacation time scheduled to get a head start on this and hope to have every move list revision done within a month after the release.
Stage 3: Finalized List
This where you guys come in. Normally I would revisit each list multiple times to fine tune the data, but I figured the community can pitch in here while I continue to work on first revisions. When a character has gotten the first revision I will post a sticky in the character forum to collect corrections and omissions. I will ask the moderators to keep this thread strictly business and delete any chatter or misinformation. I will then check and apply the corrections to the move list and delete any processed posts so I can easily track what has been done and what hasn't.
Hopefully this will result in detailed and complete lists by the time Thanksgiving rolls around, so you can easily pick up another character without having to dig through tons of posts or relying on quirky online translated info.
I must thank you for your massive support for the game and the fans by providing everything that you can get hold off about the game. which has been very usefull to all of the tekken players.
as in for me I did something that I have done with all the previous tekken games which is a hard copy user guide of the games from character move list which was based on the move list you provided and the combos from the fans chit chat about the games ...
well its not a pro job it was very usefull because you can have most of the information on tekkenzaibatsu where i almost covered most of the characters.
its all on a word document i m just wondering should i put a copy of it on line because it is 346 pages which includes how to read a move list, game system, LEGEND and all characters move list, special item moves, top ten moves by fans , combos by fans etc.
Yes I Thank you for going all out and bringing the Tekken Experience and stalling until the game is Released Bravo Castel Bravo I really appreciate what oyu do here you have one of the Best Tekken sites around thank you so very much
my tekken faqs had a pretty good movelist translated from the japanese site that includes frame data. I let it expire since i had no access to the game and i was just entering active duty. I'm hoping when i update my registry with it then it will be available again. It would provide a great start off to your lists. I'll let you know asap.
EDIT: All the data is still there i'm gonna see if i can open it up or just make a temporary site to showcase the data since i'm pretty sure i still have all the site pages used to access the data.
It will take about 3-5 days but when it's done it will be available via the link below. I'll run it for a month and then see if it needs to stay up longer.
Gentlemen the 346 pages is without the frame data. I found the frame data for T6BR but it is in japanese. I wonder if it is out somewhere in an english site. Frame data is very important.
and could someone suggest a very good upload site so i can place my word document there and give the link here.
yeap looool which includes LEGEND, special item move list, character move list, top ten moves provided by fan forums, and combos provided by fan forums as well.... just need a transulated frame data and then it will be all good. anyway i ll upload it the word document soon guys.
