Throws

f,hcf+2: new throw where he tosses them up into the air. Generally referred to as GS2.

u+1+2: new throw, King picks them up with both hands around their throat and tosses them. u+1+2~b causes him to throw them behind him. small damage, but splats them on the wall for followups.

Wall throw: fff+2+4_Giant Swing_JGS throws on the wall all do this same throw where King beats the shit out of them and finishes with shining wizard. does not work on side wall splats or directly after a bound move. leaves King to his left relative to the opponent.

d+1+3: new crouch throw. King hits the opponent twice in the face, knocking them over.

New moves

db+2: overhead elbow. new bound move. safe (possibly advantage?), mid, knocks down, but very slow and linear.

df+4: low, negative on hit, -14 on block.

df+4,3: high extension to df+4. Useful in juggles / oki. duckable on hit / block.

df+4,3,4: ends with a mid kick similar to f+4. goes to BT if you hold B afterwards

df+4,3,d+4: ends up with a low kick similar to db+4.

cd+4: safe mid knee, causes Feng Ass Stun on hit.

b+2,1+2: right punch into headbutt, both hits high, second hit forces crouch and is +1? Mostly only used as a bound move.

b+2,4: right punch into kick, second hit transitions into olympic slam on crouching opponent / CH

ws+2 / cd+2: looks sort of similar to old ws+2, safe, does not knock down. causes a stun on CH for df+4,3 pickup.


Changes / Additions to old stuff


b+1>2: second hit added onto b+1, NC, -13(?) on block, high and duckable on block. makes King's block and whiff punishing pretty buff.

b+1,4: King flops over for the second hit, similar to uf+3. mainly used to catch slow people who duck, and in some combos. Not NC.

f+4: now a homing move, knocks down / wall stuns on all hits, safe.

ff+1: now a mid homing move, does not give advantage on block any more.

ub+1: homing move.

f+3: recovers slower, (-9?) less useful in juggles /oki.

ws+1+2: now -10, flips the opponent over on hit.

FC df+2: causes a much longer stun a la Kaz CH df+2.

cd+1+2: Hits grounded, forces crouch on block, -11 on block.

cd+1: crouchdash into FC df+1

df+1>2: needs to be delayed more in order to be safe. Second hit has a tendency to whiff.

GS damage reduced slightly. No free db+3 on wall hit.

ff+2~b: cancels the spin. wtf

f+222: now safe on block, bounds.

JGS 3,2+3: essentially just JGS 3 into ff+2+3. bizarre.

uf+4: now a knee, unparryable/reversible by most characters

f+2+3: runs "through" the opponent instead of stopping at their feet if you do it to a grounded opponent.

JGS 2: now no longer gives advantage on block (0 or -1). Gives a free crouch grab (+13) if it connects on a crouching opponent.

JGS 4: only requires 2 spins to become unblockable now.

d+3+4,4,4,4,2: ali kick extensions such as d+3+4,4,2 etc. are now possible without a CH, you can finish with the mid punch at any point.

BT d+4: now db+4 from back turned.

f+1+4: knocks down on CH.

ffn+2 only -2 or so on hit, only -14 on block

misc stuff

Item moves; Rude mask, 1+2 makes King arch his back a la AK intro. Let go and he stands up.

db+1+2 Octopus Hold. I forget which shorts are required to do this. Easily the most useful item move in the game though.

No more old cd4 = I liked that move. ff2~b = JGS? Me and Howling talked about that, it'd make sense.

I'm not sure, but I think in DR it was still that Ak-esque uppecut.

We can also say that JGS 4 only needs two spins to become unblockable.

JGS df+4 no longer tracks 360 degrees.

f,f+2~b isn't JGS at all. It's a cancel in every sense of the word where he literally stops before the elbow.

b+1+2:1+3 now guarantees a b+1,2 on mids and up.

Hang on, isn't b+1,2_4 a new string from DR~BR?

d+1+2 also does 25 dmg now right?

CH f,f,N+1+2, b+3 no longer guaranteed?

f,f,N+2 drastically changed. 14 dmg on hit and -14 on block... you might use this for standard oki instead of d+3+4 in certain situations where you need to do dash d+3+4.

^ CH ffn+1+2 still guarantees b+3. Hell sometimes you can even connect b+1,2.

Actually, he doesn't need to be PLD. He just has to be face up.

Also, he needs to wear the Rude mask. That's a pretty important point considering it's an item move.

Speaking of which, Strongman pants + db+1+2 = Octopus slam?

b+1+2, 2+4 at the wall : opp can no longer recover quickly like in DR

d/f21 in air easily connects to f1? i know its one of the staple juggles in BR but in DR it seems hard to connect to it

Jep, JGS = 3+4. Can't remember what it stands for, but that's the notation at least.

T6: BR no longer has it, T5 and T5: DR still do though. Nobody was really sure on the exact notation, but it was something along the lines of b,u/b,u,u/f1+2.
