Namco has confirmed the following release date and regions.

Release Region: United States, Australia, United Kingdom, Japan
Console: PlayStation3, Xbox360
Release Date: Q3 2009

Due to many articles on the net saying random release dates, here are some other sites saying when the game will be released.
vgreleases says Q4 of '09, RewiredMind says around Autumn '09 but not the month nor date, and GamingShogun said August '09. I hope this does not confuse anyone on here now.

End of September is actually a great date, I was expecting November/Early December.

I wonder If they're going to release any special collector's edition stuff arcade sticks or pads.

Gotta let the game continue to be created and get the finishing touch before there is any collector's edition.

Looking forward to it. Namco has done a pretty good job at patching stuff etc for SC4 (from what I've heard). Hopefully they continue to do stuff for T6.

Now is this positive that it is Namco confirmed not just a placeholder date from IGN? From time to time, certain websites throw our their estimated release time tables and either label them as the 1st, 15th, or last day of the month (which is 30th for September).

From my Namco sources, no date has been set in stone yet.

IGN ALWAYS throws random estimation nonsense dates out, then you see them everywhere and half the time it's because one site saw it on another site and caused a chain reaction.

I'd also like to see some indication that it's official from namco.

These dates are too random and our not official. I wouldn't get my hopes up.

It would be great to have Tekken 6 BR by the end of August or September. We'll just have to wait and see.

When they say Q3 '09, it means the latest is Sept 30 and the earliest could be (even though it is insanely impossible) Jul 1?
