It's actually Feng's WS+4 on CH or on crouchers that gives this stun. His WS+3 is the launching jumpkick.


[Down Picking]

Low.
TC. Hold to charge. Launcher. Can be SSL'd.


Only need to hold the [1], and should note that the charge increases recovery time on block significantly, allowing slower, nastier WS punishes.


[Rimshot]

Hold forward to go into SAV. Safe.

SAV b+1,2 gives the normal d/b+1 launch even if the SAV b+1 hits.

No. It never looked high to me at all, but I've never used it in a match outside of juggles so I wouldn't have a clue. Will test. I'm just going by the Namco Movelist PDF file and what it said.

bob's b+4 is just a simple knee maybe you are talking about his b+3, the kick with the knockdown. SAV d/f+2 is horrific on block, -15 at least. I've hopkicked a miguel user once using Lili and I've been consistently punishing it with Bob's u/f+1+2,1

his SAV d/f+2 is -17 on block. So yea anything will hit. The only reason i would see people using SAV d/f+2 is if its after a d+4,1+2 juggle cause it kinda pushes them back if they try to stand up and block it. I'll edit the first post with the frames that i know of.

SAV 1+2 also launches. It's a little slower but i'm sure it pushes back enough that it's safe. I usually use SAV d/b+4 instead of d/b+3 now untill they start blocking it. But a lot of people try to launch punish SAV d/b+4 and when they do thats when you punish there WS+2. I updated the first post with the frames that i know of. I'll get to the SAV frames tonight.

Yeah. No point using SAV 1+2 outside of wakeup or high crushing though, it's just a little too slow IMO. I SAV 1+2~B on occasion, the recovery isn't that amazing though, I can usually only catch weaker players with throws and stuff. I'm not sure on the tracking of d/b+4, I've just mainly been using d/b+3 because it's reliable and seems to track sideroll left. But you're damn right about people trying to launch punish the sweep from SAV. JURASSIC hates SAV d/b+4 with a passion.

Saw the frames. Nice to see d/f+1 is 0 on block. Looking forward to the SAV stuff.


Small note: blocked d/f+1~SAV, SAV d/f+2 crushes any highs they might try. But obviously it's about as unsafe as run up d/b+1, so I only use it against incredibly jab happy players.

Updated second post with SAV frame data. Look at it I'm not too impressed, albeit SAV d/b+4 being only -12 is awesome. SAV 4 nice frames but high. Does undelayed SAV 3,3 jail? I haven't played around with that move enough, but knowing Miguel it probably doesn't. SAV b+1 seems pretty good. I never get enough chances in matches to try SAV stuff. It sucks.

its not lame. what is lame is characters that get a launcher under -14, christie, kaz etc. 15f ws launch is actually good, and its only -11 (ws22) some characters dont get any like hei/steve

Well you could just use ws+1 which is only 10 frames and +5 on hit and can go into SAV. It's only 5 dmg but SAV mixup is the greatest thing Miguel has.
