Im happy to know that MDJ used Hwoarang.. Even tho he lost. Cant wait for some vids.. I dont see why the results are surprise, this is not DR. A new tekken can warrant new champions if the old guys dont stay sharp and adapt to the new game engine. This is only logic

Take it from someone who was actually there: Anna's FC mix-ups and Bob's d/f+2 is ALL YOU WILL EVER NEED to win a tourney. Any tourney for that matter. It's sad but true...

Yes, Anna's FC mix up seemed very good.
Also, from what I saw, the game looks kind of balanced. At least it is possible to beat good players with low ranked characters. I've read much about how crap Marduk is, but the Marduk player (in one of the teams who lost the semis) played really well.
There was also one Jin player there who played well, but not good enough.
I guess when 3 Korean and 13 Japanese teams enter the tournament, it's not a big surprise that top 4 are Japanese.

Random might not be the best term for the top 4 teams. I'm sure they're locally respected, just now that they're being internationally known. Really looking forward for the DVD in October. Gotta observe that Anna player. No DR favorites this year, it just shows how big Tekken 6 is in Asia. New bloods stepping up big time.

The only thing I can come up with, considering all. Is that spacing is not as strong anymore. However, I think the good players will eventually stop being so stubborn and play this game the way it is meant to be played... and then eventually everything will make since again.
