I remember in tag one could end a juggle in 1,2, then do f,f(run up),b, tech catch move. I dunno if this works anymore, especially without DU~5_WGF~5.(oooh DU, f+2,1, 1,2, f,f,b, DU~5!!!)

Anyways, I was just wondering if anyone knew if it was the same...dash~block~catch is easier than cd~dash_block~catch.

So d/f+2 goes both ways?

What if they quick stand, do you mixup something such as d/b+4 and d/f+2_d/f+4<4?

f+4 catches techs, okay. After what for example?

I just wanna make sure I get some damage everytime or else I just avoid techs all together.

I don't really have time to make sure 100% so someone check.
My last post was really wrong, ff,b,f+4 is too slow and it blocked by b+1 tech roll in 5.0 and of course in 5.1

d/f+1,4 tech catch both ways: f,f,b,d/f+1,4
do it after:
ewgf, ewgf, 1, 1,2,
tp_ewgf, F+3,1, 1,2,
d/f+1,4, 1,2

Doesn't seem to work after d/f+4 or just ending in a 1(both ways)

For 5.1 mixup:
Low mixup(so they might do d/b+1 tech instead):
Left: HS
Both: D/B+4
Right: Sometimes f,F,b,cd+4 will catch, sometimes will whiff.
(this is to kazuya's left and right. Kazuya's left = tech right).

If they lie still of course d+4 stomp.
If they back roll, f,f, ewgf_b+2,4,1 should get them.

f+4 tech catches like 100% of the time when near the wall, well, 100% if they tech right, im not sure about left.

df+1,4 tech catch works really well after f,f+1+2 throw because if they dont tech right away, you get d+4 stomp. so just dash in df+1,4 will catch em once they're tired of eating that stomp. you know it will catch em cuz they will sometimes mash tech once the throw animation finishes. you can also catch with f,f+2 in some situations but you have to be real close, that move isn't *that* whack...;\

ff+2 also works as a backroll techcatch, but you have to wavedash about 3 or 4 times. I havn't really tried it with just dashing because then you'd have to cancel. d/f+1,4, d/f+4,4 or cd, ws+4,4, f+2 all work for backroll techcatches. I mean this as in when they completely backroll and you can juggle them. So they don't work if you ground them in a juggle.

What about CD+4,1 for backrollers?

I usually try to end my juggles with df+1,2 for stomp_f+1+2,f+2. If the opponent doesn't ever try to get up, I switch to demon scissors for bigger damage than the stomp. Sometimes I try the CD+4,1, if the opponent stands up and blocks. db+4 is also something I find useful.

I mainly use tech catches after a Cd+4,1 on hit, either db+4 or df+1,4. Stomp and CD+4,1 also useful for backrollers and those who doesn't get up.

I'm currently playing around with finding a mixup for db+4 (on hit), df+2. Any tips?

booo dont d/f 1,4 on the tech roll just run up and pressure with a dewgf or a d/f 2, so much more consistent

d/f+1,4 is guaranteed for JG on tech, that's better than dewgf or d/f+2.

You totally didn't get what I was saying. I said I think f,f is not enough to align. what does he mean notationally by "dash in"? exacts please.

yep ididnt get what ya saying, but you cleared that for me. yah dash in should be f,f. as they tech roll, you'll be dashing in with f,f. then when ready, do d/f14.

xeromos, i do those too, tho i should really be doing more d/f14. but i love my d/f2's and ewgf's.

Correction, slight ss, then ff. That usually aligns it for me everytime.

i found good juggles that end in df+1,2 and u can stomp, 4~3 (3~4 is it?) and if they tech at all a fast sweep will catch them
am i right?
i set the computer to block low and got df+1,4 df+1,2 cd+4,1 when i was quick

For back/forward rollers I usually do f+1+2,f+2 and if they lie on the ground they eat d+4.For those who wake up without rolling i reserve hell sweepers.Anyway this aspect of the game isn't Kazuya's speciality...
