This thread is for discussion for TTT2 Asuka. Take note, discussions will still continue after console release.

I notice that f+1+2 seems alot faster. It punishes i15. Yes that's right. You might not consider it as "useful' because you tend to use df+2 as your i15 punisher. But not at all. At the wall, this move wallsplats and deals meaty damage compared to the high wallsplatting df+2.

Is it really i15 now? I never use it anyway :p

If it's frames have been buffed, I don't see why you wouldn't use it. d/f+2 range is balls compared to f+1+2.

duno if they work but those might be some cool applications

also after b! if you need simple damage and wanna do f1+2, there's less of a chance it whiffs.

124 being -14 irks me. the string being NCC was great but enough to warrant it being -14 with less pushback?

2,3 being -19 now is kinda lame. you gotta be on point with on block and whiff punishing at wall or for sure you're going to die

After bound it gets to whiffed if you do it wrong, if you time right you can get it to connect.

No way. Unless you're a computer, you can't try to check if the string is on CH. And, you can't hit confirm the whole string. 1,2,4 is ass.

Why would you use f+1+2 at whiff punishing? You could of do df+3 instead since it is safe and goes below high. 2,3 is sure for punishing only.

I have not used that move on her since DR. If it can really punish that well now, I already know one Lee player that will not be happy around me.

That really sucks for 2,3 being that punishable now. I was thinking maybe using d/f+1,4 would be better for a punish now, but didn't that get nerfed as well?

You mean df+1.

2,3 is still i12 and NC, it's the best punishment.

Yea, that's me trying to rush a post at work...

That aside now, did they nerf the distance on the knockback or frames on df+1,4?

i know. i'm saying the extra 2 frames makes it easier to hit.

i never said 124 is hc, i'm just saying that it's annoying that I can potentially get launched by some characters just for throwing it out.

i never said I would use f1+2 for whiff punishing... deathfist, blazing kick, and hei ff2 were examples of on block punishing that you can't reliably punish now with anything that you might be able to punish now with f1+2

It's -14, so launch punishable by Bryan (JU), Lars (fb+2,1), Paul (b+3, although I don't know if this will reach), Mishimas (EWGF), and AK (cd2). EWGF and AK's cd2 are really tight though, so don't count on those.

Although it is not launch punishable by most characters, some characters tend to punish Asuka heavily:

Ling's f+1+2
Leo's f+2,2
Nina's df+3,4
Anna's f+2+3

And many others that tend to have + frames on hit and KD/Wallsplat.
