Once you get hit with the laser, immediately press 1+2 and JACK-6 will do the clock up animation and recover health.

Wishlist for P.Jack:

-Old d/f+1,2,1,2
-d+1 safe
-FC,d/b+1 no longer needs to be in FC for a few frames
-(1,1,)2 +f on block
-2 is +2 on block
-FC,d/b+1 is +9 on hit
-1+2 is m,m
-air throws

Basically, give him back everything Jack-6 lost between T6BR and TTT2. His lack of range and decreased combo ability hurt him quite a bit, then putting the frame nerf on 2 and FC,d/b+1 on top of that hurt P.Jack even more because of his shitty range. At least that would make J6 a good whiff punisher, spacer and P.Jack slightly better up close.

ss1+2 safe on block.
ss2 high crush.
Gunjack's df+2+3.
Gunjack's fc1+2.
debugger combo on normal hit.
Return of the delayed 3+4 (combo).
df+1+2 auto reversal against lows.

The nerf to d+1 confuses me the most. It wasn't that great to begin with. TTT1 P-Jack couldn't do much, but he could score respectable counter hit damage.

Yeah, stupid nerf. Make a mid poke with crap range -15 (-16?). Stupid.

If you mean that it now gives that combo on normal hit, no it doesnt.

How about PJ's FC d/b+1 matching J6's?

It would have been ok, if they gave him other stuff to compensate. Make his d+1 safe, more range and b!, give him something like the crane item move as a normal move.

I meant debugger, WS+4, f,f+1 should combo. I don't think it would be too strong, it's about the same speed as snake edge, but without being able to go super low to duck some mids like snake edge can.

What are the go to moves to use against:

I've been using b+3 db+1 and f+3+4 a lot against them, but it seems lacking. I've been using uf+3 to low crush, but it's not that rewarding. Those characters have weak punishment so it's not that bad, but the matches feel a lot more tedious than they should.

Also are there any particular tricks to do the EMGF? I try to execute it as quickly as possible, but it seems to happen randomly; it happens more often when I execute it slower than when I execute faster.

Just a ground hit is fine. GJs full combo wasn't anything special in TTT, but there were some great set-ups possible. I figure df+2+3 would make up for the loss of P.Jacks double df+1+2.

The only time I've gotten that to combo on normal hit is near the wall. At least, I assume it was on normal hit. I also don't think a debugger combo on normal in open space would mean top tier or anything.

From the olden T5 Jack-5 days. db+2+3 grab gives +14. Free d+2,1, free df+4, df+3+4 or free crouch throw mixup. df+3+4's the best choice, but if you screw up the timing, you get launched.
