the key is hitting d/f and 4 at the same exact time......also try it out of a cd. it's cd, f~f, n, d/f +4. the f~f must doesn't have to been quick either but you must hit d/f + 4 at the same time.

something that has helped me pull off the regular and JFSR is to press
the f,n, then tap down while rolling my thumb onto f as well, like doing the regular f,n,d,d/f+4, but then speeding up between the d to d/f until it's just d/f which gives you the JFSR, it's helped me alot

That's good, keep trying! It means you're getting the motion right at least... just need to work on the timing of your d/f and your 4.

Now you know the secret of being a good stick player.

I was in practice mode of vf5 trying to learn some akira when i had a weird idea. I was using the command history to get the timing for some of his moves right when I thought hey this could show people how they're doing a jfsr wrong. I then taught one of my friends how to jfsr using vf5's practice mode in like 20 min, and he does it almost 75 percent of the time. The PS3's tekken dr doesn't have a command history, but the psp one does so you can learn it on psp instead also.

Anyway in either practice mode with the command history on do a jfsr. Now look at the command history. You should see f followed by d/f+k(4) . If you see d/f or k(4) before the d/f+k(4), you hit that button too early and wouldn't have gotten the move off. The vf5 practice mode shows the frames you held the buttons down also so you can see how off you were. If you see f then d/f+k with nothing in between you have the motion right and would have done one if you had really been using Hwoarang. Do it a bunch of times after you start getting it right to get it in your muscle memory then switch over to tekken and try it out. I hope teken 6 gets this added to it's practice mode cuz it would make it WAY easier to learn everyone jf moves.

I can finally hit JFSR at the arcade now...bout 60-65% of the time on 2p side and bout 1% on the 1p. STill cant do any 70+ follow up juggles but its a start! This thread is epic!

IMO its FAR easier on stick than on controller
its good that your getting it down
although i still cant say so much about its practicality, others might refute me but yeah, if you can find a way to ACTUALLY use in combat that's good for you and also PM me asap on your application methods of the JFSR

i dont remember the exact damage of my juggle but i used to do this when i actually doop my opponent into getting launched with a SR or JFSR

JFSR/SR, 3+4, b+3(time this kick), f+3, hunting hawk
its around 75-78 damage i think
the timing of the b+3 is abit steep
basically you would want Hwoa's "toe" to hit the body of your opponent
if you do that, the f+3 will connect
but if the body of your opponent hits the entire foot during the b+3, the f+3 wont connect

but for starters, just stick with the JFSR, 3+4, 3~4
thats pretty good already

good luck and have fun

It's 67.
Hey materia, for now just do 3+4 3~4 after one. You should try holding the 4 when you do a jfsr and tap 3 to change stances as soon as you can and also do the 3~4 as fast as possible after. Practicing it like that will make it easier when you try to do the big combos that pretty much have to start this way. Also not bad damage if you end the combo there like 62 from jfsr and 60 from normal. Check out the staple combo thread for what to do after that.
Anyway good luck with it.

Pretty sure you meant b+4, f+3, HH...

Anyway, this isn't the combo forum. It's for learning how to jfsky ONLY.
