I wouldn't go so far as to say that, necessarily. It's just that the easier, practical options do a bit less damage than was the potential in vanilla. f,f+4, BT 1,1,1,3 does about as much as MED 3, BT 2... does.

Bloomblue on twitter says that CD+2 is -14 on block. Don't know yet how fast it is, we all assume i14.
On normal hit it does turnaround (wallsplatting) stun;
In midair and possibly on CH it tailspins.

So I guess b+2,2 is still better as i14 punisher, unless in rage, then we have CD+1+2.

cd+2 probably is -14, as was mentioned above. I ate several shoulders from Paul in CPU practice mode. It does cause instant s! on CH and wall stun spin on NH. It also ducks highs at at least some points of its animation. I also went into practice mode against Bryan. He did qcf+4,1. I blocked the kick and sent him flying as he went into the backfist. Later during the same practice, he did f,f+2 as I did cd+2. I did not block at any point, but neither did I get hit. Instead, I hit him and got the wall stun spin.

d/f+1,2 makes him a LOT scarier at the wall. d/f+1,2 (W!), d+2,2,1 does as much damage as a d/f+2 juggle, and has the startup frames of d/f+1. In many circumstances, d/f+1,2 (W!), ss+4 will send the opp back out into the field for more juggling.

ff+4, crouch punch IS possible, but is very tough to get. The only way I could get it to work was to do f,f+4, (d/b, D/B - meaning toward the opponent) and wait until I saw Yoshi start to turn around (but you can't wait too long, of course) FC+1. I was able to follow this with ws+1,2 and 2,1, but I'm guessing there is more potential here. There had better be, because all that hassle bought me about an extra standing 1 jab's worth of damage over BT,1,1,1,3, and if you mess it up, you're likely to get either BT d+1 or the d+1 downward slash.

From the opponent's right (single SS or so), d/f+1,2,d/b+2 all connect, but the last two might not be a NC, as I thought/hoped it might be.

It really feels like qcf+2 comes out faster than it did in the past, but I can't really provide any proof of that.

f,f+3 (CH), d/f+1,2, (dash) b+2,1~KIN, f+2. This might be important, because (at least in practice mode) KIN, 1+2, BT d+1 appears to be no longer guaranteed.

Those RD combos look interesting, seems like the best use of it is to do it at the start for maximum damage. Doing it in the middle of a combo significantly reduces the damage of the attack but I guess it's a good wallcarry if you're looking for that. 14 frame launcher ain't bad and I really like his new d/f+1,2 that can go into his d/b+2,2,2. It it confirmed that it's a NC and jails?

However most of the things I've wanted on Yoshi has been implemented so I can't even complain anymore

No longer guaranteed? That sucks!

Aviax, can you please check the following?:
- f,f+2 - is it safe on block?
- f+3+4 - how about this on block? I have an impression that in NSS it's safer on block
- db+4 hit advantage?

It's confirmed NC but it most probably doesn't jail (not confirmed).

I'm going to update the first page with changes. Do you guys think we should list all changes from TTT2 to T7FR, or from T7 to T7FR? Not everyone has had a chance to play T7 or they've barely played it and not everyone is aware of those changes. I'm leaning toward changes from TTT2 to T7FR. What do you guys think?

Again, I seem to be beaten to the punch re: the KIN UB. It is a LOT faster than it used to be, but at a trade-off of damage. It does the same amount of damage as f+3

ws+1,2 is also NC, just like d/f+1,2. Again, he now has the potential to be very scary near walls. This is such a reversal of fortune from vanilla T7, where his only wall stun spin move was NSS d+2,1 - and that was pointless, since the 1SS version of this move knocked down in such as to give a w!, anyway.. In the open field, it pushed too far away to be useful.

D/F+4(CH), ws+2,1~DGF, 3+4 for floor breaks, saving the s! for after the break.

cd+2 has a speed-to-reach ratio that allows him to take Claudio out of the air for a s! if he whiffs his hopkick by just a little bit. It is especially effective against opponents who like to attack from King's favorite range, because it has almost the same reach, but is a lot faster than most attacks from this range. If you are good at the EWGF, you are going to like this move.

@aviax Sorry for late reply but really thanks for the updates, they just seem to keep flooding in with new stuff from all over the place yourself included which is greatly appreciated. Do I understand correctly that you said d+2 is essentially a 13 frame move now?

DGF to avoid Akuma's RA (Shows up after King's)

APO T7:FR Gameplay AFAIK APO is like second highest ranked Yoshi in Japan, in T7.0 at least.

Some minor stuff. I haven't watched too many of the vids, so some of this may be redundant:

1ss 1+4, cd+2 connects, and might be the most damaging option. By extension, 1+4, cd+1+2 also connects, when activated:

1+4, cd+2, (dash), d/f+1, 2, b+2,1~KIN,f+2

d/f+1,2 - not delayable (EDIT: This contradicts the info on the first post. I will check again. If it is delayable, it ain't by much...), doesn't jail, uninterruptible by moves that do not auto-crush highs (and I'm not too sure about even that last part - I've never been hit by such a move while trying this). These last two properties, combined, make this move a lot more dangerous than it looks. I have had a number of people get insta-s!'ed by this move, meaning they must have attacked, although I never get to see what they tried, because the 2 comes out too fast.

ws+1,2 - is still delayable, but loses NC status when doing so

Still trying to figure out if cd+2 tracks, and in which direction.
