Inspired by other character specific forums, I'm working on a punishment list for Kazuya. I know it's a little late as the T5 forums are not too active anymore and T6 is coming out for consoles soon, still I want to do that list. At very least it will imporve my own gameplay and provide a printable list for me and everybody else that is still playing T5, and it might be a good groundwork for Kazuya punishment lists in newer Tekken releases.

Explanations (= common sense that has to be said)

punishing with jab strings:
When I state something is punishable by ?jab strings?, I am referring to Kazuya?s 10 frames NC jab strings, namely (f+)1,1,2_(f+)1,2,2_(f+)1,2,4.
1,1,2 is the least damaging among those 3 strings, but unless you know a couple of points more could kill them, I would always advice using (f+)1,1,2 because it gives wakeups. Also I recommend always adding one ?f? input to these strings. This will not only increase the damage of the string by 1 point (or 2 on CH), sometimes this is even required for punishing an opponent standing just out of range of your left punch.
whiff punishing:
This list doesn?t include moves to punish whiffs in general, unless creating the whiff is a specific punishment for a certain move (e.g. by sidestepping a certain hit of a string) or the whiff occurs automatically if you block several hits of a string.
Generally speaking, for whiff punishing with Kazuya ewgf and (f+)1,1,2 are your best friends, but it will often be a very situational thing and you?ll have to decide on the fly which punisher is best to use.
NCC & strings that do not combo:
NCC (natual combos on counterhit only) and strings that do not combo at all can be punished even if the first hit or the first hits of the string hit you, other strings must be blocked entirely in order to punish them.
mentioned punishers:
I didn't list every move that punishes something, just the best option(s). For example when I write ewgf punishes something, obviously you can also punish with other moves that come out as fast as an ewgf and don't wiff (e.g. d/f+4,4), but the damage potential will obviously be lower.
Also, if I list multiple moves that punish something, in most cases the move I list first is the recommended punisher or the punisher I would use. Of course depending on the situation, your skills and the skills of your opponent the best punisher may vary. For example, if you know your opponent can't escape the breakable WS+2 stun or if you're playing T5 DR (in T5 DR the stun is guaranteed), you may as well use this punisher when listed. Also, if you're unable to do an i13 ewgf, punish with d/f+4,4 when you block something that is -13.
accuracy:
All punishers have been checked with frame datas and tested out and confirmed in practice mode by me and/or tulip_sniper and/or One of a kind. They should all work. Obviously, with such a massive amount of info mistakes can somehow sneak into the text, and punishers can be missed out.
Altogether the list should be a very accurate guide though.

I appreciate any help (as there are quite a few chars to do), but especially on Ling & Jack5 because I don't know much about 'em and I don't happen to play against 'em very much. But obviously you can do every char you want, just let us know. I'm actually working on hei right now, however be sure to correct me if I write something wrong or if I leave something out.

Some Random Info

You can't interupt Ganryu's [d+1+2 , d/f+1 , d/f+4] after getting hit by

1,2 - 2,1 - d/f+4,1 - d/f+1 or after blocking b+2.

After Blocking Ganryu's d+1 , you cant interupt his Headbutt(b+1+2) , except by d/b+1 or d/b+4.

1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2....After blocking initial hit, opponent can not duck the string in
its entirety.

Ganryu's u/f+1 is totally safe - dont attempt to jab.Its a trap for iws+2 or Punch Parry.

Same goes for his d/f+2.

The best thing to do against Ganryu's split [3+4~dr u/f+3+4~d] is Hellsweep.It will track his Split Sidestep and Split cancel.
