How about u+3+4? Safe mid launcher, just do your sidestep, then tap forward or back on the stick to cancel the sidestep so the game does not think you want to sidewalk.

Ugh, because its slow and can be whiffed easily by a simple backdash or even just holding back? I mean honestly you can do whatever you want, and if your opponent can't visually react to and block ss+4 then it doesn't matter (might as well just sidestep JFSR in that case though... also slow but safe launcher that won't get backdash whiffed and does actual damage). I'm just speaking from experience playing some really good players that they can see the move and block it in time (it is like i25 or something). f+2 is good because the animation AND speed are both similar to ss+4 so it helps mess up opponents with good reactions (same way Heihachi players can mix up db+2 with the similar looking mid, b+2 i think)

u+3+4 is safe though. Maybe try to crush their followup.

Just sidestep JFSR if you want to mash launchers.

After ssl or with moves that leave you with good range (JFSR on block, 3,3 on block, RFF2,4,4 on block etc). Its hard to place it in pressure strings that leave you close. It works very well against Baek but its not as mashable as other evasive moves are (i.e. every other characters auto SS move).

I don't really use it in setups a whole lot personally but I'm sure you could. I use it more as an anti-pressure/keepout option since it evades and has great benefits on ch. Like CaCarmen said it's great after ssl too

b+2 CH ssl df+1 jabs can set up some nice oki (similar to JFSR ssr etc), and f+4 can also use to pick up afterwards for good damage juggles. Actually b+2 sets up some sick juggles...

Oh hey, so I don't know who checks this anymore, but before we were having a big problem with using something to track opponent's ssl (Hwo's right) in RFF. His only mid option I could think of at the time was RFF df+3, which even if it might be slightly harder to step and block with ssl (since it seems to go clockwise), is still very slow and good opponents can step and block in time. The only other options we had were db+4 and RFFb+3, which are both good but low and high, respectively. However, today by accident when playing the arcade I found uppercut covers ssl very well. Coming back in practice mode, ws+4,4 (hit) opponent ssl df+2 seems to always make contact. It is definetely blockable after stepping (uppercut is still pretty slow) but at least it seems harder to step and block then RFF df+3 (even some pretty average players can block that in time) So its a good option to have.

LFF, df+4 (spining low kick)

RFF, df+3 (spining low kick)

Do you mean LFS and RFS? If so, mash 3 after it hits while you're recovering and you get a bound.
