throw breaks in Tekken arcade/console has always been that the first input you put in during a throw is the only input read. so 1~2 2~1 would not work. Now you may hold on to a button, get thrown, release and press the other or press both simultaniously and that would register.


For instance, say I was holding on to 1 and get thrown by a 2 grab. All I would have to do was let go of 1 and press 2 to break. However, still holding on to 1 and pressing 2 would register as 1+2, thus resulting in a nonbreak.

There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge, and I knew we'd get into that rotten stuff pretty soon.

well, when i tested it in like the very first stages, 1+2 was HARD to break because it had to be precise.

I like it, it's cool, only wish that it could be a little bit bigger (i.e. more like an arcade screen size), I swear that's the only reason I'm not on the leaderboard atm

A few suggestions you might consider for future updates:

Difficulty ratings... i.e. easy/normal/hard/expert

easy = long range grabs only
normal = what you've got now
hard = same as now but varied distances (i.e. not always f+1+3 but maybe just 1+3)
expert = buffer grabs like GS/iSW/eod/MA or stuff like crouching and then mixup between FC command grabs (like King/Kaz/Bryan) with while standing generics

I don't know if that's viable or not to make in flash, but just an idea.

What you've got is heaps cool already though, much props

lol... I tried buffering it too...

Held 2 down... hit 1, of course it'll break the 1+2 breaks as the input will be 1+2, but it won't break 1s....

Quick question, I know I hit 1+2 on 2 throws, and escaped them. I thought that only worked on 1 throws?

Oh RIP i wanted to say, only thing I don't like is ff+1+2 being used, since it has a noticeable dashing motion. You could use d/f+1+2 instead for another 1+2 break. That's my experience with grab break training, use motion-less inputs or practice against king.
