After Leroy turned out to be such a big disappointment, I was hoping they'd put fahk out soon and allieviate some of the butthurt.

Let's hope they put him out by March. That'll give the pros around a month's time to familiarise with the character before twt starts.

I hope he will be strong enough so top players like Knee and cie will pick him, and wand to see at least one highlevel Fakhumram if top 8 or top 16.

Also it's gonna be interesting how a "balanced" Leroy will work in high level tournaments, hoping he'll still be viable enough to see him at least 1 in top 16 or top 8.

Got my hands on Big Fahk just a couple hours ago. First impressions:

> Seems like ANOTHER relatively simple character. This trend is ugly. Feels like the character is still in development and will come out of beta testing only in T8.

> Design is indeed overcooked. I didn't like the customizations either.

So, overall, simple, fun character. NOT a replacement for Bruce. Can't say if he's a worthy addition to Tekken yet, but I think he's much better than boring ass leroy because of a couple of vulnerabilities. May turn out to be poorly balanced tho, just like Leroy.

Edit: Looked through his full movelist and tried out some combos. Fahk this guy. Why does he need a fahking hellsweep? The combo damage is mental with wall and rage!

my impressions and thoughts:

after playing him for about ~12 hours only practice mode, i really like this fighter
his animations and overall Muay Thai spirit is great
he has many unique tools and this makes him complex in the long run = fun

- interesting cancels
- good punishers (14,f21,b1,df23,ws12,ws3)
- unique parrys for punches(d3+4) or kicks(b3+4)
- devastating CH with 3+4
- unique scary wall splatt cancels on block (but can be SS or CH interrupted)
- extremly cool running move with fff3

weakness, many of his moves are punishable (example: b1 -15,high parry -13)
he dont has a CH or NH low launcher
his "Orbital" with uf1 is very slow with 28 frames
having a -5 low poke on hit (d4) -16 on block in Tekken7 is kinda crazy (but he has at least df3)
for example: annas df4 +5,-15 - ganryu df3 +5, -12 (probably the best low poke in tekken7)
law db3 +4, -12 - marduk d3 -1, -12 (all standing,kinda same dmg,kinda same speed,all hit grounded)
so his low game is not that scary but he has a good high, so people want to duck, bf4 is basically a slower electric and more recovery (really cool move with great range)
i honestly think his db4(-14l) should also give that mini combo on CH

his mid homing is also below average ff4 is -13 but some pushback and nothing on CH
example: josie ff4 is -9 and a screw CH launcher
or even crazier asuka ff3 -9 screw on CH and high crush
oh and lili has now also a mid safe CH homing with 3.30 (only -6 but short range)

his power crush with 25frames is also just average, i would say (mid -12OC)

i really like the thunder sound on all his "power" moves, sounds scary
bruce back 2 will also live again in all his wall enders or after screw moves (b432)
cool to see this great looking move back
(really need to find setups for his b1+4 unblockable.
note: if you press bb 1+4 or hold b1+4, b1 comes out, that is a little bit annoying)

there are basically only minor things i dont like, same with leroy,negan (akuma and geese but these are 2d fighters), no unique cool sidethrow animations
this is a lazy route, in my opinion, as i think its not that hard
(just move some ik pivot points and make it look cool - no balance needed - send me the data i do it for free )
does that mean tekken8 will throw all sidethrows over board?
als leroy and fahkumram are true tekken fighters
i also miss some clinch multi throws


my final verdict: Iron Fist spirit 100% - a true fighter to the roster
for a new released fighter, very well implemented, way better than total OP leroy, if you ask me
how good he will be on high level is hard to say, as he has holes (example: b432 is basically useless, as 12frames will interrupt the 2 to come out, you wont see CH like old b2 (on top its -12)) and many punishable moves,
so i dont know yet (some might say he is strong just because they focus all on combo damage. everytime i see rage + wallcarry + RD wall ender, i am like, yeah you can do this damage with almost every fighter in the roster, this does not tell you how good a fighter will be on high level)

ps: the customization is kinda lackluster but i really like his default anyways
(i hope this mode will get more love in tekken8, even if this means smaller roster to release
but in the end tekken7 vanilla already had a small roster, it just grow in time with new installments and 3 seasons)

Just wanted to correct something. The first hit of his bow and arrow-like move is ch launcher and the first hit of his sweep bang is ch launcher too (I know for certain the one after df1 cancel is, not sure about the ff4 cancel version). So he does have ch low launchers

yeah thanks for adding this
i noticed it too yesterday

i dont know if i would fish for it as CH or take the NH damage + oki, as it is a -23 stagger on block
and if FCdf3 (or ff4~3 or df14~3) hits alone, it is also -4 on hit

i personally wont use it as a CH low but other might think differently
(maybe as oki as it also hits grounded but the risk for me would be to high)

One of the best newcomer easily, great and unique design, innovative gameplay to the series (too many cancels and guard crush that are unique to him), you can really feel the guys did their researches about Muai Thai art and philosophy and not just randomly gave him some movelist here and there, and the fact he has his stage and theme help as well.

Why no Fukumram character section?

They coulda made the new stage be 2 or 3 stages instead of making them 1 balcony break stage.

A lot of combos are dropping VS him. Combos that hit everyone else.

I agree about the stage. They could have made at least two different stages. I prefer only one gimmick per stage rather than gaziliion wall/balcony/floor breaks for one stage. I had the same feeling about the geese stage. For me the downstairs section of the geese stage is the most beautiful stage of t7 and I almost never see it. And when I do get there it's the last 2 seconds of final round.

As for the combo drops. I have noticed the same. Not just juggles but also things like backturned punishers and side punishers that are guaranteed on others whiff against him.

with the new stage select screen we could actually get more stages = nice
if i would be in the developer team, i would add a geese howard 2 stage, where you start on the outside stage, just as a normal wall stage.

i also really like the outside of the stage
it would be so easy to do and jet a nice addition to the stage roster

how about even making the stage at evening/night than?
so while you do it a own stage slot, spice it a little bit with the daytime we play there

i really wished this game would get a little bit more support as a game-as-service title

i follow other games on the market with that model, i feel like tekken7 is doing just the minimum to add dlc. why did we never got a item/outfit dlc, like some guest artists stuff, that could also add a little money to the tournament for example.
(but i never felt bad about buying season 1, 2 and 3 - and even 4 )
(i was not a fan of bowling tho, it really had nothing to do with the actual game)

one though with the customization
i wished the outfits would split up a little bit to have more options
and on top it would make the "item hunt" in treasure battle more fun - unlocking the boring metal default outfits or metal hairs or even rainbow hairs is just stupid boring to me
(and i know as i kid i would also not loved it)

man team tekken, please put in more love to your game, its so good
(those generic items from "converted" tekken tag2 days really look super bad in quality compare
with fahkumram this game feels like a 3 generation assets game in one.)

Yes, he can be punished; side-stepped and that, but you know what I mean right?, godly 50/50 + godly movement + roflcopter range + those moves that brake your guard and either stomp you against the wall or force you crouch, etc lol etc lol this character.

This character is breoken imo, and you know I never speak about broken character nor I'm used to complaining about these things, but with this Fuk boy they have lost their minds. It's too much, simply put.

I was one of the loudest people complaining about Leroy when he came out and am not afraid to admit that, but I really don't think Fukkiboi is anywhere near Leroy 1.0 level. The thing that balances Fukkiboi out is I feel like he's high risk/high reward where as Leroy was super low risk/super high reward. I see a lot of [insert name] vs. Fukki matches and I notice a lot of them don't punish his unsafe shit. Once they start doing that, more people will see he's actually a reasonable character.

Obvious truth is obvious. This oversized mobo with tiny head and overdone tattoo'd face is another pay to win character, like first Geese and then Leroy, which btw both continue to be. But oh my goodness now with this fukumrim whatever the name aboard the twist got epic indeed. It is Arslan saying it not me. Just wait for when a big tournament takes place and prepare to see, like happened with The Neighbourhood at Evo last time, lots of Fikhimplums in the top 8. First Geese, then Leroy, now..

I would have never believed tekken to become another pay to win game, but foolish me when a game is a fucking service like this one, It always does. Always.

Very powerful but still very vulnerable character; which makes him a lot of fun to use.

He also has a very under-utilized 10-string. During ranked matches, it can very well surprise a lot of players (even in the blue ranks) and win you rounds, if used smartly.
