Not following you here. 2,2 on hit just makes some moves from KIN on transition safe. It's still only +5.

so it's been tested? it doesn't recover faster than not canceling into KIN?

intekken just has "+?" for that move

I think the new extension might just be the regular df+4 but now it's NC after df+1.

New move or just the df+4 doesn't matter to me. At least we got a 13 frame punisher again

:edit: yea,its the df4... looks good to me, nice damage... love the mixup, if they even think about ducking df1,2 they are getting kicked in the face, that move is very quick

Homie needs to put on some weight anyway. Looking a bit gangly as of late.

From all the gameplay I've seen today it seems to be a NC and might be safe too because I haven't seen anyone punish it yet. If it's delayable too that would be awesome and further enhance Yoshi's mindgame

In between IMO. He's for sure better than T6 and Tag 2 Yoshi but not close to T5DR yet. They gave him more moves and he can transition more between his stances now. In the latest update he finally got a 13 frame punisher that they probably wont take away again, It's -14 but still.

I haven't played FR yet but he's shaping up to be really good from what I've seen. Still does shit damage but that's probably because of his good oki game and ''shenanigans''.

Yoshi's shenanigans don't justify his weak damage. He should have better damage, like in T5DR where he had a choice between good damage juggles and oki juggles. Now he both does shit damage and has oki mainly at the wall (as all other chars).

Also, Namco has taken the dmg from his unblockables and weakened his CH juggles (CH f+2, CH DGF 4). His juggles are weak also because most of them require some sort of pickup (df+1, BT 2) which is bad in terms of scaling.

What I would like to see now are some damage adjustments. Moveset-wise, I think Yoshi is pretty cool.

Ya, really don't know why they nerfed his CH and unblockable dmg. The funny thing is even if they get hit by sword stab and the sword stab spin cancel (forgot the name lol) sometimes they still have time to punish Yoshi for it because it leaves him at like -1000 frames.

We should go and cry more on twitter, seemed to work with the 13 frame punisher

bull charge into flash for a wall combo was nice enough... forgot all about the second hit on the (no)sword sweep move, but what are the odds of landing that and not the first hit?
