I found that df+3+4 clips it at point blank range

Eddy can punish Hei's ff2 with df3+4 but it's very situational and so risky. As if you whiff you'll die. It depends on range and you can easily test it in practice mode.

Just like all Paul's moves, you have to be very close. When you're at the wall, the pushback won't be enough to create enough space, so you can always punish them.

What characters can launch b3,3/WS1,3?
I know Lars (fb2,1), Lee(d4,4,[3],3) and Devil Jin(1+4) can get a combo, who else?

Feng d/f+1?
I'm sure Ganny can do it but I dunno notations
Law b+2,2
Bryan d/b+2

Also don't know if Steve or Drag (iWS4?) can do it, but anyone with a dickjab to a WS or CC combo should be able to do it in theory I guess, like Alisa FC+1 to WS1,2.

Not able to test anything atm so I might be wrong

Law b+2,2 and Bryan db+2 wont work, too slow. Only i14 or faster works. Also Steve does not get float, just f,f+2

Good to know, what other options do they have though? Does Baek 4,3 hit low enough to float?

It might, d+4 string should work otherwise.

Who would you guys consider to be Capos strongest partners?

I'm trying to put together 3 Capo teams that are relatively cheap : P

Jack and Ogre are out since I'm using them together, Julia and other waifus are out too since I have teams for them, I currently use Christie/Bruce so was looking for suggestions for Eddy and Tiger teams.

Fergus I think Bruce is very good with Eddy , the team becomes ch oriented , very good damage at the wall.
Bad matchups are vs Eddy's nemesises like Bob, Jc etc. Pretty hard to deal with double bears team especially at wall.

Other good team mates I can think of are AK, Lars, DJ, Law, Marduk, Leo (Jack, Ogre)

Are there moves you never use with capos?

I never ever use:
4~3. Ever. Never thought of anything to do with it.
3+4. Sometime I use 3+4 out of rlx, but standing?... only when it's a failed command.
df3. Also, only when I fail a qcf3.
b1+2: Only when the opponent whiffs a 1+2 grab and I react anyway
3~4,3: that looks awful.

I don't use b4 so much either, and I feel like I should use db3,db4,1+2,1+2 more at the wall, feels like a good strategy.

Aside from b+1+2 I feel all those moves have some very good uses. I think we talked about them before... df+3 I find works perfect when trying to run away. the df+3 has a lot of range and seems to be out for a while. Its a good way to space out. 4~3 4 catches people off guard, and the ten string into weed whacker extensions once in a while can get free hits for not so much risk. I've never used the hot plate extension 4~3,3. 3~4,3 has combo uses...

db+3,db+4 is good at the wall, you can hit confirm the headbutt and if you choose to finish with the last low and it hits, you get a guaranteed 1,2.

d/f+3 - Has a low hitbox and can be a keep away move....kinda like a shitty version of d/f+2. I remember I scored a close knockdown on someone and purposely used d/f+3 right next to him, and as he whiffed a get up mid kick he stood up right into a RLX mix-up. d/f+3 directly into HSP d+3 is ok I guess but otherwise it's a pure gimmick move like a bunch of other shit.

3+4 - Terrible move by itself. 3+4~3 is ok because it's +1 on block tho.

3~4 3+4 - The HSP variant of this move is useful...but only after a ss2,4 wall splat.

d/b+3,4 - Only variant of that string that matters. Why use anything else?

Does anyone ever use u/b+1+2 as a keep out move? It is deceptively hard to hit Capos when they are doing it. Surprisingly good at the start of the round if opponent tries anything like a df+2 or something.

Yeah ub+1+2 works at the beginning of the round like that. But at the end of the match I just for for backwards hopkick instead since thats a mid. Honestly Capos have a lot of moves that cover similar options so I feel player style plays a major role in determining who uses which moves.

I use just u1+2, cause it's a launcher on CH, depending on the range you may catch it with b3,3...

I use 3~4, 3+4 "all the time" (like once in every 3 matches or so).

btw, do you have special tricks for when the clock is going down and you have a short life lead? I guess backdashing is good, and trying some rlx is good too, but sometimes it's too obvious, so the opponent adapts.
