b+3+4 is a punch parry and as such can not be chickened like standard reversals

I've seen it parry highs and mids, but AFAIK it doesn't parry smids (d/f+1+2 will do that)

well you can still use it, might get a ch or something, but you won't get the auto parry

o.O. Those tips kinda helped but a got a question.
Do you guys just tap the 4,1 followe by f132, as i keep tend to spam the buttons and end up with d/f2, 4,4..>_>.

Btw whats the move for a sliding tackle? I saw a vid of drag doing it and he slides damages the opponent, witht he opponent on top of him.

Thanks in advance.=P

The sliding tackle is wr3. iwr3 isn't possible, so you have to run at least 5 (?) steps before you can do it. So no easy mixup with iwr2, but that would be too sick.

Try D+3 (hold down), and make sure you're in the right grounded position too.

Practice is what you need bro at first I was like that too because I used to mash up buttons when juggling with my first character: Bryan. His juggles are mostly mash-able

Counter how? NCc 1,2,1 with +frames before hand shut down pretty much every jumping launcher. As far as punishment goes, almost all hop kicks are 12 frame punishable, therefore you get free 4,1 on block.

Since 4,1 is +8, it's a really bad time to be the hopkicker. My personally favorite, though I don't use it alot is to follow up with an instant throw e.g. 4,1 then f+1+4_2+3 The grab animation is pretty much inivisible and will beat everything out except for crouching and hop kicks. Otherwise just 4,1 punish then 1,2 and hit confirm the last 1.

o.O thanks for the help
So each time miguel does a hopkick, i will do a f,4,1 followed by a 1,2?

No need to f,4,1 just perform 4,1. You might accidentally do f+4,1 which will only come out as f+4 even though it's safe, you won't get anything off it.

You mean high crush? I never thought/noticed that Drag's df2 is high crush.

I've seen it happen, but no, I'm fairly sure d/f+2 doesn't have high crush frames. Just a weird hitbox in some ways.

Yeah, d/f+2 doesn't crush, if anything you might get exchange in which case you'll still launch but take some damage at the same time. AFAIK only generic d/f+2 crushes due to not launching on normal/crouching hit.

I take some of this back,

4,1 hop kick punish to instant throw (f+1+4_2+3) can not be hop kicked. Therefore the only way to evade the instant throw would be to duck or, of course, break the throw. I might try to use this more often to throw in more "safe" 50/50.

Yeh was wondering about that, I recall hopkicks and similar techjump moves taking about 7 frames to get airborne (that's not an exact figure, just trying to scrape my memory here)? Instant throws should always beat that out.
