I just figured out where the true difficulty is with this combo imo.
You have to buffer the jab into the f1 animation...so while doing the f1 you tap ff...what you want to see is the bar jump forward...if you try and do ff after f1 its too slow and if you do it too soon then you get nothing.

I also found that it is easier to do on stick because of the stick automatically going to neutral after the f1. On pad I had to hit f1 as quickly and precisely as possible so that I t registered only 1 f input then quickly buffer the ff...hitting the db 1 fast and accurate enough was also difficult.

My suggestion for practice is to do this combo...uf3, f1, f1, f1, btp..

I think I might make a vid tonight to help explain it better

Once you get this combo you can play with it even more and do stuff like bhs cc df4 f1 ff b2,1,1+2.

CD-DT - Please do make a vid....I think a lot of Bear players will benefit from this. Thanks dude!!

Hey guys, seems you don't have a QnA thread, so I'll ask here, (nothing to do with combos)

But with panda's RNR throw at 6:48 of the video, bryan yells a specific laugh, does he take less damage or something?

Nope, same for kuma's rnr throw. It's just a fun little thing they've added.

Nice Nice Nice! Time for me to get to work.

Here's some easy combos for beginner bears out of one of my favorite moves:Grizzly Claw Smash (b,bd,d,df+2,2)GCS

b,bd,d,df+2,2(GCS), d/b+1,2~5, u/f+4,3, u/f+4,3 6 hits 76 damage, (easy peasy)
GCS, d/b+1,2~5, u/f+4,3, u/f+1+2, BTP 7 hits 81 damage (highest easy damage)
GCS, d/b+1,2~5, u/f+4,3, b,bd,d,df+2,1 6 hits 77 damage (gives wall smash ending)

And an easy f,f+2 combo:
f,f+2, u/f+1+2, f+1, d/b+1,2~5, u/f+4,3, f,f+1+2 8 hits 88 damage (HBS(3+4) ender option (Ooo la, la))

The Grizzly Claw Smash moves work well against those unfamiliar with the bears and for people who tech a lot, and can be mixed with just Grizzly Claws (2,1) to change it up. Not safe against those who know what they are doing though, but fun nonetheless.

Some wallcombos for you guys (ghetto quality lol)!! One is 120 and one is 145.
You can do the f1,1,1 at the beginning of a match (for a ch) and get 120 damage, so that's pretty nice.

Another easy high damage combo, with a caveat.

u/f+1+2, BTP+5, d/b+1,2,5, u/f+4,3, u/f+1+2. BTP 10-hit 126dmg carries to low wall hit

Probably more possibilities out of u/f+1+2, BTP+5
buuuuut.... opponent can block BTP after the first u/f+1+2, so it is not truly a combo though it registers as one in training mode. It does work sometimes in matches though because if you catch someone with u/f+1+2 a lot of times they will miss the hit stun and try and retaliate then eat the BTP. You probably won't get it more than the one time, or against someone more familiar with the bears

Use d1+2 as ender instead of btp (more damage). Cept when they're against a wall and you can follow up with a (running) move.

What do bears get after BTP~5 vs bears/Ogre? db+1,2 doesn't hit.

Right now I'm doing BTP~5, f+1, b+2,1,1+2 and the damage sucks. Thankfully bear mirror matches don't happen often.

you can d/f+3,2 B! after BTP~5, timing is quick, but not bad at all.
I know this works on Bears and Jacks, but I haven't tried Jinpachi or Ogre yet.
It works on almost everyone honestly.

I have made a combo video for Kuma/Panda, it's showing most of the combos/variations that are worth doing with this team! :>

Nice high damage ones at the start, look pretty reliable, maybe even for online play. Now I just need to reprogram myself out of db+1, 2 and start landing d/f+3,2 instead

Thanks!

Most of the combos are reliable online, and you can kind of see which ones that are and which ones are not. You just have to adapt to doing the new fillers/enders haha!

BHS Combo Tutorial

A bit of extra help on the cc timing?

I do the Hellsweep then start tapping up a couple of times while Panda is in the sweep animation to cancel the crouch and go into d/f+4, but I can't seem to get the timing down right. I only get the right d/f kick about one out of every 5-7 times. I started using the tap up method because I wasn't sure how quickly (or where in the sweep animation) you had to start the cancel input.

"Now? ......now? now now now now now? How about ....now?"

Can you go into more detail on when to start the cancel or your technique?

Techtrap with bears is b1+2,3+4 df2, 5 d1+2 for 91damage. db2 only does 86 iirc.

Which characters can bound after the techtrap? So far I know:
Bruce (d3,4 MT f1)
Jun/Unknown (b2,2 etc.)
Nina/Anna (d4,1)
Michelle/Julia (ff1?)
