The combo I posted is the max damage for the team I guess (113dmg against 107dmg for the combo you posted). And the 113dmg combo gives very little red bar to the opponent because you use f3,4~5. Overall I think it's a better combo for Lei/Feng.

Your combo is very interesting though, I didn't know you could use Lei's f3,1,2 as a tag filler (I mostly use 1+2,1).
Very nice ! It has better wall carry than regular 1+2,1 and deals more damage.

As for db4 combos, the razor rush idea is interesting too. Does it connect on hit? I can't seem to make it connect properly.

Atm I use : db4~f DRU 3,2 TA! f3,4 3~4,4,4

It has very weird properties depending on which tech they chose, the 2nd or even the 3rd hit will connect for good damage.
I was wondering if you could do better (probably).

Yeah the razor rush does connect on hit in the db4 combo alright! Sometimes one or two hits of it might wiff, but I promise you that the mixups after are worth it if you can practice the timing good, I love doing a three hit razor rush into Panther mixups on oki, but there's LOADS of options. The 3~4,4,4 is an awesome option too though! I'd do it at the wall I think. I haven't tested for max damage yet, I just want the oki stance mixups TBH.


What do you do for Feng db4 combo? I do

Feng db4, 2~1,5 Lei uf3, CRA 4 Feng f3,4 b1+2

1. HH is Hunting Hawk. u/f+3,4,3
2. BT 1,1,3,2 against the wall gives you a free bound. f,f+2 and d/f+1+2 will hit.
3. Against turtles, I would suggest you do ground stances into DRU transitions. Just to keep them on their toes.

4. For Lei/Baek players: do not forget f,N+3,d+4 as Lei's wall TA. Do not always use u/f+3, CRA 3,4,2,3 or 3~b, PHX 3,3.
Try to see to if you can sneak in Baek's iFLA f+3_u/f+3 before Lei's d+4 hits. I'd test it myself, but I'm at work right now.

I use 1+2,1 because it seemed logical to me Didn't see that you could use 1+2,2 as a tag filler.
I just started Lei/Feng, I have tons of stuff to learn and improve, don't hesitate to tell me if you spot those things (like for that 1+2,2 Thanks !).

Your Feng db4 combo is very nice ! I never got that much damage. I'll use yours for now.

Yeah I started using the team recently also! I've always used them separately, but together I like the team a lot. My Feng still needs work though, but in a month or so I think I'll be really good with him I hope

(Even though he's a dojo destroying bast*rd lol)

KNDs 3, d/f+1+2~5, Jack u/f+[1], Lei f+2, 1+2~1, BT 4,4. 90 damage.
Leaves obviously lots of red, but half life off KNDs 3 is pretty awesome.

Also one of the rare occasions where Jacks charged u/f+1 hits consistant as TA.

Anyone confirm if they work in TT2? I've had no luck.....

Can I get confirmation whether this wall combo works?

(Zafina) ff+2 W!, ff+3 TA! (Lei) f,n,3,d+4 (Zafina) b+2+3 (unblocakble)

From what I've seen, Lei's f,n,3,d+4 move gives enough time for Leo to do her bb+1+2 unblockable to connect for immense damage. I was wondering if Zafina's unblockable was fast enough as well.

I don't have as much fun with Lei in TT2 compared to BR to be honest. In BR it was great, haha step really got on people's nerves, going for less damaging juggles that led into setups was encouraged (since Lei's juggle damage was so bad anyway), it also encouraged you to use his entire movelist since his damage output on everthing was average.

This game (I feel) is more about just playing range one to two Tekken and using a whole lot of launchers, Lei's got some good ones (ss+4 is really,really good) but nothing as absuable as JFSR or electric (the other characters I use)... Haha step is pretty pointless now because it doesn't go further than normal backdash, and to be honest in this game you usually kind of want to stay on your opponents and pressure them into tagging out instead of playing annoying run away to get on thier nerves (different mentalities for different games). Plus razor rush is so damaging that it almost feels like using other mids is not worth it, frames for a lot of transitions worse than BR, new moves other than b+2 aren't that great ..... /rant

Oh hey I have a question. There's a new CMV out (maybe two weeks ago) and there's a combo which goes B!, switches to Lei for TA, and f*2 repeated (Lei stays in). Anyone have any insight on how to get that to work? Everytime I've tried Lei switches out automatically. It reminds me of something my friend was telling me about how certain characters (like Law) can do a standing 2 jab during a TA and still stay in the TA.
