Craig's b+2 no longer knocks the opponent off-axis on normal hit.

I wonder if the same can be said on CH? That'd be a monstrous buff. In T4 the push back was great because it gave a free d+4 on hit or a position change if they didn't duck/break the grab. Ever since then though, it's just kind of been... there.

Full juggles off of CH b+2? *drool*

oh damn! thats been one my top5 moves lately in T6. and if it didnt knock off axis on normal hit thatd be sick. i love the frames it gives although more would be nice, but its hard to follow it up with anything short of a long range throw or another b+2 because not only does his tracking suck but also the notations get messed up off axis.

it gives a decent full juggle in t6 with d/f+3,d1,2 uf+3+4 sick oki, but its like 50% at best for reliability, so maybe it will be more reliable in ttt2. all fun stuff to imagine.

I tried to think of tackle as more of a set up tool than anything, a mechanism for long term damage rather than guaranteed, direct ownage. Forcing people to break it constantly, getting people irritated with it and expecting the pressure etc is where the value normally lies, it's more for messing with people and keeping them on their toes. Landing a successful one is just gravy.

We all know it's not like it was in DR, but it's far from useless atm. Unless something drastic changes I imagine it'll be the same in Tag2.

Combos ending with b+1,2 now get punished by tag out due to players being able to tag out after b+1.

icege did you actually like combo's ending with b1,2?
not only were they easy to mess up after a fast vtsc, i just didnt think the dmg was worth it.

ofdp came up with a great combo for BT combos where you end with d/f+3,1,2 vts SS(according to which side youre on) and its a perfect time to tackle them on tech or go for that beefy 50/50. back roll is easy to catch with either tackle or if you sense it coming just dash for launch. and if you SS right after the vts they cant backroll cuz of the angle, its a lot like the FF1+2 combo ending with d/f+3,1,2,f,1 where tackle hits roll back and tech

only time i ever end a combo is of of ff+1+2 juggle for max damage.

89 damage for ff+1+2, SSR, f+3,2, B! d/f+3,1,2, VTSc, 1,2, VTSc, b+1,2.

but with tag assault i'm sure we'll have ways to do even better damage in TTT2

tbh I never did a b+1,2 ender unless I was on autopilot.

I prefered f+3,2, B!, d/f+3,1,2,f+1 off of ff+1+2 for the oki options afterwards + potential wall splat.

Most of the time if I wanted to end a combo with b+1,2 I would end it with b+1+2 instead for the oki.

Finally had the chance to play the game.

d/b+1 is awesome, can be jab punished only at the wall. The build I played was a location test build however, but I guess they didn't change it in the final build and the current data on Ina tekken is wrong (they have it at "-8,-9?" atm).

inatekken has so much frame data wrong it's starting to become a joke

d/b+2 is still the same in final build, only punishable by the wall

Only Ogre (and maybe Jack) can punish it in open play, maybe a few other characters

ANd btw,even jack cant punish him after d/b+2 if its the same as in the Loc test.
i saw a match where marduk did d/b+2 a lot of times and jack tried to punish but cudnt.

Did I read correctly that u/f+3 is now -2? I sure hope not because I love that damn move! I'm glad they did something about d/f4,2 since -17 was stupid!

Any idea if anything else got some better frames hopefully some 0 or + moves?
